Energage pricing for the platform sold next to the free Top Workplaces award

Most people who search for Energage pricing have already met Energage through Top Workplaces. The award costs nothing to enter, and then a sales rep offers the platform behind it. That platform has no published price. energage.com/pricing returned a 404 when we checked on 22 October 2026, and every button on the site says Request a Free Demo. This page sets out what is free, what a quote is likely to cover, what to ask before the demo, and what the vendors that do print a price would cost you at 50 to 500 employees, with our arithmetic labeled as ours.

DIRECT ANSWER

Energage does not publish a price for its platform, so its cost is whatever your quote says. Entering, participating in and winning Top Workplaces is free, according to topworkplaces.com. The paid purchase is the Energage platform: pulse and workplace surveys, insights, employer branding, talent modules and consulting. For a yardstick, published engagement survey cards come to $4,800 to $14,599 a year at 200 employees, by our arithmetic.

Go deeper: this dimension works alongside Energage competitors and Top Workplaces award, and the guides on energage vs culture amp and top workplaces vs great place to work show the frameworks behind the scoring.

Bar chart of year-one list cost for engagement surveys at 200 employees on Workleap Officevibe Standard, Lattice Engagement, 15Five Engage, Viva Glint and AssessmentCloud Business, with Energage shown as a quote-only placeholder because it publishes no price
Our arithmetic at list price for 200 employees. Rates read on vendor pricing pages between August and October 2026; energage.com/pricing returned a 404 on 22 October 2026. Not a vendor quote.
LANDSCAPE

Year-one engagement survey cost at four headcounts next to the Energage quote

Energage publishes no price, so its column can only say quote only. The other columns use rates read on each vendor's own pricing page: Lattice on 19 October 2026, Viva Glint in August 2026 (standalone, as Microsoft listed it), 15Five in September 2026 and Workleap Officevibe in October 2026. Every total is our arithmetic at list price for twelve months, before discounts, not a figure any vendor prints for that headcount. Workleap assumes one manager per eight employees, rounded up, which is our assumption.

Headcount Energage platform Lattice Engagement ($4 a seat, $4,000 floor) Viva Glint ($2.00 a user) 15Five Engage ($4 a user) Workleap Standard ($4,999 plus $32 per manager a month) AssessmentCloud Business ($119 a month)
50 employees Quote only $4,000 $1,200 $2,400 $7,687 (7 managers) $1,428
100 employees Quote only $4,800 $2,400 $4,800 $9,991 (13 managers) $1,428
200 employees Quote only $9,600 $4,800 $9,600 $14,599 (25 managers) $1,428
500 employees Quote only $24,000 $12,000 $24,000 $29,191 (63 managers) $1,428

The Lattice floor only bites at 50 employees, where $4 a seat comes to $2,400 and the $4,000 minimum applies. Workleap's base fee makes it the most expensive card at small headcounts and its per manager charge keeps it there as you grow; Workleap points larger companies to a quoted Enterprise plan, so read the 500 row as Standard arithmetic only, not a price Workleap offers at that size. AssessmentCloud Business stays at $1,428 a year at every size in the table because it is priced flat for up to 500 respondents a month, and it is an organization-level diagnostic, not an award survey. For a fuller list of rivals at 200 employees, including Great Place To Work and Quantum Workplace, see Energage competitors. For what the award itself asks of you, see Top Workplaces award, and for the other big quote-only vendor, Culture Amp pricing.

GET IT IN WRITING

Before you sign with Energage, get four things on the order form. The price for each module by name, the term and the renewal increase, whether consulting and support services are inside the price, and a sentence confirming your Top Workplaces entry does not depend on the contract. A number on a call is a conversation. A number on the order form is a price.

CU-01

What you get

The award and the platform are two different purchases

Topworkplaces.com says there is no cost to nominate, participate or win awards, and calls Top Workplaces the only no-cost employer recognition program. Nothing about that changes when a rep calls. What the rep is selling is the Energage platform, a separate product with its own contract. Keep the two apart in every internal email. If finance hears that Top Workplaces costs money, the award entry ends up waiting on a software budget it never needed, and the software gets approved on the strength of an award it was never required for.

There is no rate to anchor on, so build your own yardstick first

Energage prints no price, tier, minimum or per-employee figure anywhere on energage.com. That leaves the first number in the conversation to the seller. Walk in with your own. A 200-person company buying engagement surveys from vendors that publish cards would pay $4,800 a year on Viva Glint, $9,600 on Lattice Engagement or 15Five Engage, and $14,599 on Workleap Officevibe Standard, all our arithmetic at list price. If the Energage quote sits well above that range, the extra has to be explained by modules you actually want.

The quote is a bundle, so ask for it itemized

Energage sells three groups of products. Workplace Culture covers Pulse, Workplace Insights and the Workplace Survey. Employer Branding covers Employer Branding and Top Workplaces. Talent Management covers 360 Surveys, Behavioral Assessment, Compensation, Connect, Learning, Performance, Succession and Talent Insights. Consulting, Partnerships and Support Services sit on top. A single total for all of that tells you nothing. Ask for one line per module, so you can drop the ones you will not use in year one.

Winning does not depend on buying

Energage describes Top Workplaces as risk-free and confidential, says participation is private, and publishes only the names of winning companies. One survey qualifies a company for every award it is eligible for within 12 months. None of that is tied to a platform contract. The gates are eligibility, which as read in September 2026 meant at least 35 employees and a 35 percent response rate. If a pitch ever implies that buying improves your odds, ask for that claim in writing before you take it to finance.

Size the decision by what you need after the award

Some companies want the survey to keep running between award cycles, with pulse checks and manager dashboards. Others want the badge on the careers page and nothing else. The first group is a real buyer for an engagement platform, from Energage or a rival. The second group may need no platform at all. Decide which one you are before the demo, because a demo of the full platform will show every module, and the useful question is which of those you would open in year one.

Where an organization-level assessment fits, and where it does not

AssessmentCloud runs no award program, has no media partners and cannot get anyone onto a Top Workplaces list. It is not a replacement for an employee survey that feeds an award. What it does is score the company on culture and engagement, process maturity, digital maturity, skills gaps and compliance readiness against an industry median, in one 0 to 100 report with a prioritized action plan. Business is $119 a month for up to 500 respondents a month, with no per-employee fee, so the price does not move with headcount.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Enter Top Workplaces on its own terms

Nominate, check that you meet the published eligibility (as read in September 2026, 35 employees and a 35 percent response rate), and run the survey. Steps on topworkplaces.com are nominate anytime, survey employees, receive the outcome, winners announced. None of them requires a purchase, so do not let a platform decision hold up the entry.

02

Write down what you need once the survey closes

List the jobs in plain words: quarterly pulse, manager reports, 360s, performance reviews, succession, compensation, employer branding. Mark each as year one or later. This list is what you compare the quote against, and it stops a bundle from growing during the demo.

03

Price the published alternatives at your headcount

Multiply each published rate by your employees and by twelve, then apply each floor. Lattice Engagement is $4 a seat with a $4,000 minimum, Viva Glint $2.00, 15Five Engage $4, and Workleap Standard $4,999 plus $32 per manager a month. These are our arithmetic at list price, not figures any vendor prints for your size.

04

Ask Energage the questions its site does not answer

Ask whether the price is per employee, per module or a flat platform fee. Ask for the term, the renewal increase, whether consulting is included, which results from the award survey you keep without a contract, and what happens to your data if you leave. Ask for the answers by email, not on the call.

05

Put one year-one number in front of finance

Finance wants a single figure per option. Give them the itemized Energage quote, the published-card totals at your headcount, and the cost of doing nothing beyond the award. Mark every derived figure as your own arithmetic, so nobody later mistakes it for a vendor quote.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

AssessmentCloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about energage pricing

Energage does not publish a price, so the cost is whatever your quote says. Its pricing page returned a 404 on 22 October 2026 and every route leads to a demo. For scale, published engagement survey cards come to $4,800 to $14,599 a year at 200 employees, by our arithmetic at list price, and Energage bundles more modules than most of them.

No. As read on 22 October 2026, energage.com/pricing returns a 404 and the only call to action on the site is Request a Free Demo. No rate, tier, minimum or per-employee figure appears anywhere on energage.com. Any Energage price you see on a third-party site is somebody else's estimate, not a number Energage has published.

Yes. Topworkplaces.com says there is no cost to nominate, participate or win awards, and calls Top Workplaces the only no-cost employer recognition program. One survey qualifies you for every award you are eligible for within 12 months. The cost Energage charges for is the platform, which is a separate purchase with its own quote.

No. Entering, participating and winning cost nothing, according to topworkplaces.com, and none of the four published steps (nominate, survey employees, receive the outcome, winners announced) involves a purchase. Eligibility, as read in September 2026, meant at least 35 employees and a 35 percent response rate. Participation is confidential, and only the names of winners are published.

The Energage platform covers three product groups and a set of services, according to its own site. Workplace Culture includes Pulse, Workplace Insights and the Workplace Survey. Employer Branding includes Top Workplaces. Talent Management includes 360 Surveys, Behavioral Assessment, Compensation, Connect, Learning, Performance, Succession and Talent Insights. Consulting, Partnerships and Support Services are listed separately.

Energage does not say. It publishes no per-employee rate, and it does not state whether it prices per employee, per module or as a platform fee. Ask that first on the sales call. For comparison, Lattice Engagement and 15Five Engage list at $4 per user a month and Viva Glint at $2.00, according to their own pricing pages.

Nobody can say from public information, because neither vendor publishes a US price. Culture Amp's FAQ says pricing depends on the number of employees, the product chosen and the service tier, billed annually. Energage prints nothing at all. The only fair test is two written quotes for the same headcount and the same modules, compared line by line.

Lattice Engagement lists at $4 a seat a month with a $4,000 minimum, Viva Glint at $2.00 a user, 15Five Engage at $4 a user, and Workleap Officevibe Standard from $4,999 a year plus $32 per manager a month. Quantum Workplace, which also runs an award, states a $15,000 minimum annual package.

It is worth it if you will use the modules after the award, such as pulse surveys, manager insights, 360s or performance reviews. If all you want is the badge, you already have it without a contract. Price the modules you would use in year one and compare that total with published cards at your headcount.

Ask for a price per module by name, the pricing basis (per employee, per module or flat), the contract term and renewal increase, whether consulting and support services are included, and which award survey results you keep without a contract. Get the answers by email and make sure the same figures appear on the order form.
