Two inputs set the number, and one of them is yours to control
CultureMonkey's FAQ answers the cost question in one line: your quote is based on how many employees you survey and the level of support you need. The first input is worth pausing on. If only part of the company is in scope for the first year, say one region or the frontline population, ask for a quote on that group rather than total headcount, and ask in writing whether adding people mid-term reprices the whole contract or only the new seats.
The support tier follows your headcount
The page describes three support levels. Under 200 employees you get group onboarding with the Customer Success team, ready-to-launch templates, manager and executive trainings, and 24/5 chat and email support. From 200 to 999 you also get a dedicated Customer Success Manager plus implementation guidance and rollout best practices. From 1,000 up the enterprise tier adds white-glove onboarding, pre-survey diagnostics, a results deep-dive with the People Science team and one-on-one leadership coaching.
Implementation is included, which is not true everywhere
CultureMonkey states that implementation, HRIS integration, single sign-on and all survey templates are included at every tier with no separate charge, and that there are no additional or hidden implementation costs. The page advertises a 5-week implementation. That is a real point in its favor: several enterprise listening vendors bill onboarding or professional services as a line of their own, and it is the line buyers most often miss in year one.
People Science Plus is the one line that can grow
The only paid add-on named on the page is People Science Plus, described as advanced driver analysis and predictive insights plus custom board-ready reporting and analytics. If your CEO expects a board pack rather than a dashboard, that is where the money goes. Ask for the add-on as a separate priced line so you can see what the base platform costs without it, and decide in year two whether you still need it.
What every plan includes
The page lists the same base for everyone: 100-plus survey languages, research-backed templates, customizable and anonymous surveys, lifecycle surveys, integration with any HRMS, omni-channel delivery over SMS, WhatsApp, Slack, Microsoft Teams, QR codes and kiosks, and SSO with GDPR and SOC 2 compliance. One detail does not line up: one block says 50-plus templates and another says 100-plus. Ask which library you get.
There is no public free tier
CultureMonkey's pricing page offers a free, no-obligation demo call and a written quote after it. It does not list a free plan or a self-serve trial, and you cannot buy it on a card. For a US buyer that means the earliest you see a number is after a sales call, so book it early enough that finance gets the figure before the budget round closes, not after.
Where AssessmentCloud fits, and where it does not
CultureMonkey is built for deep engagement listening across a large, multilingual, frontline workforce, and we do not match it on channel reach or languages. AssessmentCloud scores a different question: culture and engagement alongside process maturity, digital readiness, skills and compliance, in one 0 to 100 report against an industry median. The price is published and flat: Business is $119 a month, or $99 billed yearly, for up to 500 respondents a month, whatever your headcount.
