The range is three times wide, so ask which end you are on and why
Both product cards show the same range, $5 to $15 per person a month. PerformYard does not say what puts one buyer at $5 and another at $15. Its FAQ names the things it does price on: the number of employees, the products you select, and volume pricing for larger organizations. At 100 people the distance between the two ends is $12,000 a year, by our arithmetic, so the first question on the sales call is your rate, and the second is the reason for it.
Buying both products doubles the range
Performance and Talent Development are listed as separate products, each at $5 to $15 per person a month. A company that buys both is looking at $10 to $30 per person a month at list, which is $12,000 to $36,000 a year at 100 employees by our arithmetic. The pricing page does not say whether taking both changes the rate on either, so ask before you assume the two lines simply add up.
Performance already covers engagement and surveys
The Performance product lists reviews, goals, feedback, meetings, engagement and surveys, and includes PerformYard AI, an AI-first conversational interface for building your performance process. That matters when you line it up against a modular card. Lattice sells Performance at $10 and Engagement at $4 a seat a month as separate modules, so the like-for-like Lattice figure is $14. The top of PerformYard's range is $15, which puts the two within a dollar a seat at list.
Onboarding and training are in the contract, not on top of it
The FAQ is direct: there are never any additional fees for onboarding or training, and both are included in every contract. Every plan also lists a dedicated success manager, hands-on implementation, unlimited employee trainings, HRIS integrations and SSO. When you compare quotes, check whether the other vendor charges for implementation. Lattice also states no additional implementation cost for its performance software, so between those two it is a wash. For anyone else on the shortlist, ask for that line in writing.
No minimum is printed, which matters for small teams
The pricing page states no minimum seat count and no minimum spend. That is not the same as a promise that contracts have none, so ask. If it holds, a 20-person team at the top of the range pays $3,600 a year for Performance, by our arithmetic. Lattice's $4,000 minimum annual agreement puts the same team at $4,000 for Performance plus Engagement, and Small Improvements bills Grow for at least 20 users and Elevate for at least 30.
Where an organization-level assessment fits, and where it does not
PerformYard runs a performance process: reviews, goals, check-ins and the surveys around them. If that is the job, PerformYard is the right kind of tool and AssessmentCloud is not a substitute. AssessmentCloud scores the whole company on culture, process, digital maturity and engagement against an industry median, at a flat monthly price from $49 with no per-employee fees. It is the pick when you need a company-wide diagnostic or an engagement read without paying per head.
