The plan that matters for client work is Business, not Starter
ScoreApp's own FAQ lists what Business unlocks: a custom domain, abandon emails, dynamic PDF reports, audience segmentation, advanced insights, Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel, and custom scripts. For a marketer running a lead magnet, Starter at $39 a month is a real plan. For a consultant who hands a client a branded report at the end of an assessment, the PDF is the deliverable, and it sits one tier up at $99 a month, or $75 billed annually. Budget from Business if a report leaves your hands.
Responses are counted per account, not per client
Every ScoreApp plan comes with a monthly response allowance: 100 on Starter, 1,000 on Business, 3,000 on Pro. That pool covers every scorecard you run. A single 150-person staff survey for one client uses 150 responses, which is more than a Starter month on its own. Two client engagements in the same month on Business can eat most of the 1,000. Map your real monthly volume across all clients before choosing a tier, because the allowance, not the feature list, is usually what pushes the bill up.
Going over the cap does not stop collection at 100%, but it hides the data
ScoreApp's help center spells out the overage rule. You get notified at 80% and 100% of your allowance. You can keep collecting up to 120% of the quota, but the lead data for those extra responses stays unavailable until you upgrade. Past 120%, the scorecard stops accepting new responses until the next billing cycle, unless you buy extra responses or move up a plan. For a client-facing assessment, a survey that closes itself mid-week is a problem, so leave headroom.
Extra responses are sold in blocks, but the block price is not published
The help center says you can buy additional responses on a rolling basis, in blocks such as 500 or 1,000, for what it calls a small additional fee. It does not print the fee. Pro can be expanded with paid add-ons up to 50,000 responses a month, and volumes beyond that go to a custom or Enterprise conversation. If your volume is seasonal, ask support for the block price in writing before you pick a lower tier and plan to top it up.
Annual billing saves 25% and commits you for twelve months
The pricing page shows a 25% saving on yearly billing: $351 instead of $468 for Starter, $891 instead of $1,188 for Business, and $1,341 instead of $1,788 for Pro. The help center describes annual as roughly nine months at the monthly rate and adds that once purchased, you are committed for the year. Monthly plans can be cancelled, upgraded or downgraded at any time. If you are testing whether scorecards win work, the monthly plan and the 14-day money-back guarantee are the safer first step.
What ScoreApp is built for, and where an organizational diagnostic differs
ScoreApp is a quiz and scorecard funnel builder: landing pages, lead capture, dynamic result pages, CRM connections and split testing. It is priced for marketing volume, and for that job it is inexpensive and good. It does not ship organizational assessment frameworks or industry benchmarks, because you write the questions and the scoring. AssessmentCloud does the opposite job: ready-made culture, process, digital maturity, skills and compliance diagnostics scored 0 to 100 against an industry median, with white label for consultants on the $279 Consultancy plan. Different purchase, and it is worth knowing which one you are making.
