DIRECT ANSWER

15Five's main competitors are Lattice, Leapsome, Culture Amp, Small Improvements, Workleap, Betterworks and PerformYard in performance management, plus Quantum Workplace and Microsoft Viva Glint where the buyer only wants engagement surveys. 15Five publishes Engage at $4, Perform at $11 and Total Platform at $16 per user a month, billed annually (15five.com/pricing, read 13 October 2026). For a 150-person company buying reviews plus engagement, our arithmetic on each vendor's published rates puts year one at $27,000 on 15Five, $25,200 on Lattice, $19,800 to $32,400 on Leapsome depending on its platform fee, $16,200 on Small Improvements and $12,295 on Workleap Standard, its $4,999 base plus $32 per manager a month on our assumption of 19 managers at one per eight employees, rounded up. Culture Amp publishes no price. Lattice is the closest like-for-like rival, Small Improvements and Workleap are the cheapest published options at this size, and Viva Glint is the cheapest survey-only option for Microsoft 365 companies.

What each 15Five competitor publishes on price, read at source

The 15Five, Lattice, Small Improvements, Betterworks, PerformYard, Quantum Workplace and Leapsome cells were read off each vendor's own pricing page on 13 October 2026, and Workleap on 15 October 2026. Culture Amp and Viva Glint were last read on 12 October. The last column is our arithmetic for a 150-person company buying performance reviews plus engagement surveys at list price for one year. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the table says so rather than repeating a review-site estimate.

Vendor Published price Minimum or term Year one at 150 employees, reviews plus engagement (our arithmetic)
15Five Engage $4, Perform $11, Total Platform $16 per user a month Billed annually; no minimum spend on standard packages, some add-ons may carry minimums $27,000 (Engage plus Perform); $28,800 on Total Platform
Lattice Performance $10, Goals and OKRs $8, Engagement $4, Foundations $13 a seat a month $4,000 minimum annual agreement, billed annually, USD only $25,200 (Performance plus Engagement)
Leapsome Performance Reviews $7, Engagement Surveys $4 per employee a month, plus a $7 platform fee waived with any module until 31 December Contract terms by quote $19,800 with the platform waived, $32,400 at full list
Small Improvements Launch $3, Grow $6, Elevate $9 per user a month Billed annually; minimum pricing applies on every plan $16,200 (Elevate, which covers engagement and performance)
Workleap Standard $4,999 a year plus $32 per manager a month, Pro $11,999 a year plus $32 per manager a month Billed annually; Enterprise quoted above 250 employees $12,295 on Standard with 19 managers at our assumed one per eight employees (Standard includes performance and engagement reports)
PerformYard $5 to $15 per person a month Per seat; exact rate by quote $9,000 to $27,000 on the published range
Betterworks Performance $8, Talent $9 per user a month Engagement only in the custom-priced Enterprise tier; says it fits 500+ employees best $14,400 for performance alone; engagement is quote only
Quantum Workplace None per employee. Packages start at $15,000 $15,000 minimum annual contract $15,000, the floor, whatever the module mix
Viva Glint $2.00 per user a month Paid yearly, 50-seat minimum, Microsoft 365 enterprise plan required $3,600 for engagement alone; no performance reviews
Culture Amp None. Depends on headcount, product and service tier Billed annually, quote only Not published
AssessmentCloud Flat $49, $119 or $279 a month, or $24, $59 or $139 a month billed yearly No per-employee meter, no annual minimum $708 billed yearly on Business. Not a review tool: it scores the company, not individuals

For the full 15Five card with every add-on totaled, see 15Five pricing. The closest head-to-heads have their own pages: 15Five vs Lattice pricing, 15Five vs Culture Amp pricing and 15Five vs Glint pricing, and Workleap vs Lattice pricing finds the headcount where a package with a per manager charge beats a seat card. If you have already decided to leave, 15Five alternatives priced at 100 employees works the smaller-company case. The same exercise for other vendors lives on Lattice competitors, Leapsome competitors and Culture Amp competitors.

THE FINANCE CONVERSATION

Finance will ask for one number per vendor, so bring the year-one total for each rival at your own headcount, with the floor, the platform fee or the per manager charge already in it. At 150 employees buying reviews plus engagement, that sheet runs from $12,295 on Workleap Standard to $27,000 on 15Five, by our arithmetic on list rates. Culture Amp stays a blank line until it sends a quote.

CU-01

What you get

Lattice is the rival most 15Five deals end up against

Lattice sells the same shape of product: reviews, one-on-ones, goals and engagement surveys on a per-seat card. Its Performance module is $10 and Engagement $4 a seat a month, so the pair costs $14 against $15 for 15Five Engage plus Perform. The difference is the floor. Lattice states a $4,000 minimum annual agreement, while 15Five says its standard packages carry no minimum spend.

Three rivals undercut 15Five at 150 people

Small Improvements Elevate covers reviews and engagement at $9 a user a month, which is $16,200 a year at 150 employees. Workleap Standard comes to $12,295 a year at 150 employees, its $4,999 base plus $32 per manager a month on our assumption of 19 managers at one per eight employees, with performance management and engagement reports included. Leapsome comes to $19,800 while its platform fee is waived. All three are our multiplications of list rates, not quotes.

Engage buyers have a different shortlist

If you only use 15Five for surveys, compare it with listening tools, not review suites. Viva Glint lists at $2.00 a user a month with a 50-seat minimum and a Microsoft 365 enterprise plan underneath, which is $3,600 a year at 150 people. Quantum Workplace starts at a $15,000 annual contract. Culture Amp quotes on request. 15Five Engage at $4 is $7,200.

Coaching is where 15Five has no direct rival

15Five sells manager tools no competitor on this page prices the same way: Kona Coach at $19 per manager a month, Kona Notetaker at $2 per employee a month, a content library at $49 per manager a month and live coaching at $399 per credit. If those are why you bought 15Five, a cheaper review tool will not replace them, and the year-one comparison has to include what you would buy instead.

What none of the nine measure

Every vendor here runs a people process. None scores whether the company's processes, digital tools, skills coverage or compliance posture are what is holding performance back. AssessmentCloud scores all five dimensions into one 0 to 100 report against an industry median, at a flat published price with no per-employee meter. It does not run performance reviews, so it is not a 15Five replacement for that job.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Name which 15Five product you are replacing

Engage, Perform and Total Platform have different rivals. An Engage-only buyer is comparing survey tools such as Viva Glint, Culture Amp and Quantum Workplace. A Perform buyer is comparing review suites such as Lattice, Leapsome, Small Improvements and PerformYard. A Total Platform buyer needs both halves from one vendor, which narrows the list to Lattice, Leapsome and Workleap.

02

Price every rival at your own headcount

Multiply each published per-user rate by your employee count and twelve, then check it against the vendor's floor: $4,000 a year on Lattice, 30 users on Small Improvements Elevate, 50 seats on Viva Glint, $15,000 on Quantum Workplace. Workleap prices an annual package plus $32 per manager a month, so ask whether the base includes any managers and who counts as one.

03

Add the manager tools back in

If your 15Five bill includes Kona Coach, Notetaker or coaching credits, list them as a separate line and decide whether the replacement needs them. Leaving them out makes every competitor look cheaper than it will be in practice.

04

Measure the company before you buy another people tool

Run one whole-company diagnostic first. If culture and engagement is the weakest dimension, buy the review or survey suite with confidence. If process or digital maturity scores lower, a better review cycle will measure the symptom rather than the cause.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

AssessmentCloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about 15five competitors

15Five's main competitors are Lattice, Leapsome, Culture Amp, Small Improvements, Workleap, Betterworks and PerformYard for performance management, and Quantum Workplace and Microsoft Viva Glint for engagement surveys. Lattice is the closest match product for product. Small Improvements and Workleap compete hardest on price for companies under 250 employees.

Lattice is 15Five's biggest direct competitor. Both sell reviews, one-on-ones, goals and engagement surveys on a published per-seat card, and both target US companies from roughly 50 to 1,000 employees. Leapsome is the closest European rival, and Culture Amp is the usual rival when engagement survey science matters more than reviews.

Yes. By our arithmetic on published list rates, a 150-person company buying reviews plus engagement pays $27,000 a year on 15Five, against $16,200 on Small Improvements Elevate and $12,295 on Workleap Standard, by our arithmetic with 19 managers at one per eight employees. For engagement surveys alone, Viva Glint lists at $2.00 a user a month against 15Five Engage at $4, if you already have Microsoft 365.

15Five publishes Engage at $4, Perform at $11 and Total Platform at $16 per user a month, all billed annually. Add-ons include compensation at $9 or $11 per user a month, Kona Notetaker at $2 per employee, Kona Coach at $19 per manager, content at $49 per manager and live coaching at $399 per credit.

Neither is better in general. 15Five is stronger on manager coaching, with paid AI and human coaching add-ons. Lattice is stronger on compensation and HRIS breadth. On list price they are close: $15 a user a month for 15Five Engage plus Perform against $14 for Lattice Performance plus Engagement, with a $4,000 floor on Lattice only.

15Five bills every contract annually. Its pricing FAQ says the standard packages are designed to be flexible for organizations of all sizes, with no minimum spend, and that some optional add-ons may carry minimum requirements. Lattice, by contrast, states a $4,000 minimum annual agreement, and Quantum Workplace a $15,000 minimum contract.

Ask for the year-one total at your exact headcount, the minimum annual spend or user minimum, the contract term, what the price does at renewal, and whether any promotional waiver ends after year one. Leapsome's platform fee waiver and Workleap's $32 per manager monthly charge are the two terms most likely to move the real cost.
