15Five and Lattice both publish their prices, and on the headline rate they are close: engagement surveys cost $4 a seat a month on either. The difference is the floor and the bundle. Lattice states a $4,000 minimum annual agreement, 15Five states no minimum on its standard packages, and 15Five's reviews-plus-goals plan costs $11 against $13 for Lattice's Foundations package. So 15Five is cheaper for small teams and for performance management, and the gap narrows or flips once you add modules. The tables below run both cards at 50, 150 and 400 employees.
Every figure here was read off each vendor's own pricing page and pricing FAQ: 15five.com/pricing on 18 September 2026 and lattice.com/pricing on 16 September 2026. The yearly totals are our arithmetic from those published rates, and each table says so. We are not affiliated with either company and we do not resell either product.
Is 15Five cheaper than Lattice?
For most buyers under about 100 employees, yes, and for performance management at almost any size, yes. For engagement surveys alone above 84 employees, they cost the same. The reason is structural rather than a discount. Lattice's pricing FAQ says the minimum annual agreement is $4,000, so a small team pays that floor whatever its seat count works out to. 15Five's FAQ answers the minimum-spend question by saying its standard packages are designed to be flexible for organizations of all sizes, and that only some optional add-ons may carry minimums.
Where Lattice comes out ahead is the standalone product. Lattice sells Performance on its own at $10 a seat, below 15Five Perform at $11, and Lattice's own FAQ says Performance or Goals can be bought individually for $8 a month. Its product card and its FAQ disagree on that number, so get it confirmed in writing. If all you want is a review cycle, with no goals and no OKRs, Lattice can be the cheaper line.
15Five vs Lattice pricing at a glance
| What each vendor states | 15Five | Lattice |
|---|---|---|
| Engagement surveys | Engage, $4 per user a month | Engagement, $4 a seat a month |
| Performance reviews | Perform, $11 per user a month, includes OKRs, 360s, talent matrix, career paths | Performance, $10 a seat a month on the card; FAQ says $8 when bought individually |
| Goals and OKRs | Included in Perform | Goals and OKRs, $8 a seat a month |
| Bundle | Total Platform, $16 per user a month (Engage plus Perform plus manager microlearnings) | Foundations, $13 a seat a month (Performance, Goals, 1:1s, feedback, analytics, AI agent); Engagement not included |
| Compensation | $9 per user a month, or $11 with Mercer salary benchmarking | Add-on at $6 a seat a month |
| Career growth | Career paths inside Perform | Grow add-on at $4 a seat a month |
| AI coaching | Kona Coach $19 per manager a month; Kona Meeting Assistant $2 per employee a month | AI Agent included in Foundations |
| Minimum spend | None stated for standard packages; some add-ons may have minimums | $4,000 minimum annual agreement |
| Billing | Billed annually | Billed annually, US dollars only |
| Support | Dedicated human support for every customer, plus an account manager | All contracts include dedicated human support |
Two things in this table decide most evaluations. First, Lattice unbundles goals from performance and 15Five does not, so comparing Perform with Lattice Performance alone is not like for like. Second, compensation runs the other way: Lattice's compensation add-on is $6, while 15Five's is $9, or $11 with benchmarking, which is as much as the whole Perform plan. For the full 15Five card with every add-on, see our 15Five pricing breakdown, and Lattice pricing does the same for Lattice.
How much does 15Five cost compared to Lattice at 50, 150 and 400 employees?
Here are the published rates run at three headcounts, annual totals, before any negotiated discount. This is our arithmetic, not a figure either vendor prints. We treat every employee as a paid seat, which is how both vendors describe their pricing.
| What you buy (our arithmetic, per year) | 50 employees | 150 employees | 400 employees |
|---|---|---|---|
| Engagement only: 15Five Engage at $4 | $2,400 | $7,200 | $19,200 |
| Engagement only: Lattice Engagement at $4, $4,000 floor | $4,000 | $7,200 | $19,200 |
| Reviews and goals: 15Five Perform at $11 | $6,600 | $19,800 | $52,800 |
| Reviews and goals: Lattice Foundations at $13 | $7,800 | $23,400 | $62,400 |
| Reviews only: Lattice Performance at $10 (card price) | $6,000 | $18,000 | $48,000 |
| Surveys plus reviews: 15Five Total Platform at $16 | $9,600 | $28,800 | $76,800 |
| Surveys plus reviews: Lattice Foundations plus Engagement at $17 | $10,200 | $30,600 | $81,600 |
The engagement-only row is where the Lattice floor bites. $4,000 divided by $48 a seat a year means a Lattice Engagement customer pays the minimum until 84 seats. At 50 employees that is $1,600 a year more than 15Five for the same list rate. Above 84 seats the two are identical, and the choice comes down to the product.
On the full stack, 15Five stays about $1 a seat a month cheaper at every size, which is $4,800 a year at 400 employees. That gap is real but small next to what the add-ons can do, which is the next section.
What does 15Five charge on top of the plan?
15Five lists five add-ons on its pricing page, and they meter on four different things, which is why two companies of the same size can get very different quotes. Kona Meeting Assistant is $2 per employee a month. Kona Coach is $19 per manager a month. Content, the on-demand learning library, is $49 per manager a month. Live Coaching is $399 per credit, where a one-to-one session is one credit and a group session of up to ten people is five. Compensation is $9 per user a month, or $11 with Mercer benchmarking.
Run that at 150 employees with 19 managers, which assumes roughly one manager per eight people. Total Platform is $28,800. Kona Meeting Assistant for everyone adds $3,600 and Kona Coach for the managers adds $4,332, so the year lands at $36,732. That is our arithmetic, and it is before compensation. Adding benchmarked compensation for 150 users is another $19,800. Lattice's equivalent compensation add-on at $6 would be $10,800 for the same headcount.
15Five's help center adds a detail that matters at the order-form stage: Kona Meeting Assistant and Kona Coach are separate purchases, and availability conditions apply to both. Ask whether each add-on can be bought on your plan and whether it carries a minimum, because the pricing FAQ says some do.
Lattice vs 15Five: which one should a small company choose?
Under 84 employees, the published numbers favor 15Five on every configuration that includes engagement surveys, because there is no $4,000 floor to fill. A 40-person team buying engagement surveys pays $1,920 a year at 15Five's list price against $4,000 at Lattice. If that team adds reviews and goals, 15Five Total Platform is $7,680 and Lattice Foundations plus Engagement is $8,160.
That does not make 15Five the automatic pick. Lattice's Foundations package bundles one-on-ones, updates, feedback and its AI agent, so if those are the workflows your managers will actually open every week, a small premium may be the right trade. Book both demos, list the five workflows you will use most, and price only what is on that list.
Both vendors bill annually, so either choice is a twelve-month commitment paid up front. Put the renewal date in a calendar the day you sign, and if your company runs a lot of annual SaaS contracts, it is worth setting spend alerts ahead of each renewal so a price change does not arrive as a surprise invoice. 15Five's pricing page says it was updated February 2026 and that pricing is subject to change, and Lattice's card has already shown two different prices for the same product.
Does 15Five or Lattice have a minimum contract?
Lattice does. Its pricing FAQ states a $4,000 minimum annual agreement, billed annually in US dollars. 15Five states no minimum on its standard packages and says only that some optional add-ons may include minimum requirements. Both bill annually, so the practical commitment on either is one year. Ask each vendor for the renewal terms and the price lock in writing before signing.
Which is better for compensation reviews, 15Five or Lattice?
On price, Lattice. Its compensation add-on is $6 a seat a month against $9 for 15Five's Base Package and $11 with benchmarking. 15Five's higher tier includes Mercer real-time salary benchmarking, which Lattice's card does not list in the same line, so the fair comparison depends on whether you already pay for salary data elsewhere. If you do, Lattice's $6 add-on is the cheaper route to running a comp cycle.
What neither 15Five nor Lattice will tell you
Both products manage people. They run reviews, track goals, collect engagement scores and coach managers. Neither one scores whether your processes are mature, whether your technology fits the work, where your skills gaps sit or whether your compliance work would hold up. If engagement is low because a handoff between two teams has been broken for a year, a performance platform will record the frustration and miss the cause.
That is the job Assessmentcloud does. It scores culture and engagement alongside process, digital, skills and compliance, each from 0 to 100 against an industry median, at a flat monthly price from $49 rather than per seat. Many teams run it before signing a per-seat contract, to confirm that people management is really the constraint. If it is, buy 15Five or Lattice with a clear brief. Our 15Five alternatives page is honest about when 15Five is the better pick, and Leapsome vs Lattice pricing covers the third vendor that usually joins this shortlist.
How to get a fair quote from both
Give both vendors the same four numbers: total employees, total users who need a seat, total managers, and the modules you will use in year one. Ask for each module and add-on as a separate line, with the discount shown separately rather than folded in. Ask Lattice to confirm whether Performance is $10 or $8 for your configuration. Ask 15Five which add-ons carry a minimum. Then put both quotes into the tables above. If either total lands far from the published arithmetic, you know where to push.
For the rest of the field, including vendors that publish nothing at all, Culture Amp competitors lines up ten of them on published price, minimum spend and contract term.
