Affordable starts with the floor, not the seat rate
A low per-user rate means little until you read the line underneath it. Lattice Engagement lists at $4 a seat a month, but its $4,000 minimum annual agreement means a 25-person company pays $4,000, which works out to about $13 per employee a month by our arithmetic. Viva Glint bills at least 50 seats, Small Improvements at least 20 users, and Quantum Workplace starts at $15,000 a year. Under 100 people, the minimum decides the price more often than the card does.
Culture Amp prints no number, so build the yardstick first
Culture Amp says cost depends on the number of employees, the product you choose (Engage, Perform or Develop) and the service tier, all billed annually, with service bands under 200, 200 to 999 and 1,000 or more employees. It prints no rate and no minimum. Walk into the call with the published totals at your own headcount, so the first number on the table is yours rather than the seller's.
Engagement only is a smaller purchase than a talent suite
A Culture Amp quote that bundles Perform or Develop with Engage will look high next to any survey card. If the job is an engagement survey, price survey products: 15Five Engage at $4, Lattice Engagement at $4, Leapsome Engagement Surveys at $4 plus its platform, Small Improvements Grow at $6 (pulse surveys start there, not on Launch), Viva Glint at $2.00. Performance tools with surveys inside, such as PerformYard at $5 to $15 per person a month per product, make sense only if you are also replacing reviews.
Watch the price that arrives in year two
Two published cards change after year one. Leapsome requires a platform foundation listed at $7 per employee a month under every module, waived only on purchases made by December 31, so Engagement Surveys at $4 becomes $11 at list for anything bought after that date. Workleap Standard adds $32 per manager a month to a $4,999 base, so its bill climbs with every promotion into management. Put year two next to year one before you sign.
Where Culture Amp is still the better buy
If you run 1,000 or more people, want Perform and Develop from the same vendor as Engage, rely on People Science consultants to design and interpret surveys, or need deep comparative benchmarks at enterprise scale, Culture Amp is built for that, and a cheaper tool leaves gaps you pay to fill later. This page is for companies that need a trustworthy engagement read at a price finance signs this quarter.
What AssessmentCloud is and is not
AssessmentCloud is a flat-priced organizational assessment. Team is $49 a month for one area and up to 50 respondents a month. Business is $119 a month for all four areas (culture and engagement, process and digital maturity, skills gaps, compliance readiness) in one report, up to 500 respondents a month, with exports, trend and segment benchmarks. Billed yearly, those are $24 and $59 a month. It does not do performance reviews, 1-on-1s, goals, recognition or compensation. If you need those, buy a suite.
