Culture Amp competitors: what each of 10 vendors publishes on price

Ten vendors get named as Culture Amp competitors on every listicle, and almost none of those lists tell you what any of them costs. This one does, using only figures the vendors publish themselves.

DIRECT ANSWER

Culture Amp's competitors divide on one line that matters more than any feature grid: whether the vendor publishes a price at all. Lattice, 15Five and Viva Glint do, at $4 to $13, $4 to $16 and $2 to $12 per user per month respectively. Culture Amp, Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Workday Peakon, CultureMonkey and Leapsome are quote-only, and several carry a floor that only surfaces on the call: Lattice a $4,000 minimum annual agreement, Quantum Workplace a $15,000 minimum annual contract, Leapsome a one-year minimum term with its customer success team gated behind a $6,000 annual contract. Gallup sits apart from all of them, selling the Q12 at $20.00 per participant on its own store. Every figure on this page was read off the vendor's own pricing page or public filing in September 2026, never off a review site.

Go deeper: this dimension works alongside what Culture Amp itself publishes on price and Culture Amp alternatives, and the guides on best employee survey software and employee engagement software cost show the frameworks behind the scoring.

LANDSCAPE

What each Culture Amp competitor publishes on price, read at source

This is the table the listicles do not print. Every cell below was read off the vendor’s own pricing page, store listing or public filing in September 2026. Where a vendor publishes nothing, this table says nothing rather than repeating a reconstructed per-employee figure from a review site, because those figures disagree with each other by more than an order of magnitude and none of them appear on the vendors’ own sites. The fourth column is the one that removes vendors from a shortlist fastest.

Vendor Published price (read September 2026) What the price is metered on Minimum or contract term
Culture Amp None. The pricing page carries no figures, tiers or minimums Headcount, product chosen and service tier Billed annually, quote only
Lattice $4 to $13 a seat a month, by module Per seat, per module $4,000 minimum annual agreement
15Five $4 to $16 per user a month Per user, per product Billed annually, no published minimum spend
Viva Glint $2, $6 or $12 per user a month Per user, by which Microsoft plan you buy Paid yearly, a Microsoft 365 license is a prerequisite
Leapsome None published. A starting figure shows against an unresolved currency selector Per user, per module 1-year minimum term, customer success needs a $6,000 annual contract
Qualtrics None Employee count, by quote Enterprise agreement, quote only
Perceptyx None By quote, sales-led Quote only
Workday Peakon No US price. Workday’s UK G-Cloud 14 filing prices it per employee per year Per employee per year, by headcount band 3-year term, entire current headcount committed
Quantum Workplace None Per employee, by quote $15,000 minimum annual contract
CultureMonkey None Employee count, by quote Quote only
Gallup Q12 $20.00 per participant on the Gallup store Per participant Gallup Access platform quoted separately

The deeper reading on each of these lives on its own page. Culture Amp pricing works through the three inputs Culture Amp names for a quote, Lattice pricing breaks the modules out against the $4,000 floor, Qualtrics pricing covers what Qualtrics discloses about its pricing metric, Perceptyx pricing deals with a vendor whose pricing page returns a 404, Viva Glint pricing is the only published enterprise rate card in the group, Workday Peakon pricing sets out the three-year full-headcount term, and Gallup Q12 pricing explains what the $20.00 store price does and does not buy. For the two-way shortlists that come up most often, there is Culture Amp vs Lattice, Culture Amp vs Qualtrics and Peakon vs Culture Amp.

What you get

The split is price transparency, not features

Every listicle ranks Culture Amp competitors on survey science and dashboards, which is where they are hardest to separate. The line that actually changes your shortlist is whether you can budget the thing before a sales call. Three of the ten publish a seat rate. Six quote only. One sells a single instrument per participant. Sort the field that way first and half the demos stop being worth booking.

The minimum disqualifies more buyers than the rate

A published seat rate reads cheap until you find the floor underneath it. Lattice states a $4,000 minimum annual agreement, so a 40-person company pays the same as a 90-person one. Quantum Workplace states a $15,000 minimum annual contract. Leapsome reserves its customer success team for contracts of $6,000 a year or more. Workday prices Peakon on a three-year term with the entire current headcount committed for the whole term. Ask for the floor before the rate.

Two of the ten need another vendor's license first

Viva Glint publishes a real US rate card, $2 a user a month standalone, $6 inside the Workplace Analytics and Employee Feedback plan, $12 in the full Viva Suite, but a Microsoft 365 license is a prerequisite, so the rate is only the marginal cost. Workday Peakon can run standalone, and Workday says so in writing, though the integration story is strongest for companies already on Workday HCM. Neither is a like-for-like swap if your HR stack sits elsewhere.

Where Culture Amp genuinely beats its competitors

Culture Amp is stronger than most of this field on survey design and on comparative benchmarks, and its People Science team is a real service rather than a support tier. If your problem is that nobody trusts your engagement numbers, that combination is worth paying for. What it does not do is tell you whether your process maturity, digital capability, skills coverage or compliance posture are the thing holding the company back, because it only measures people signals.

What none of the ten actually measure

Every vendor on this page measures engagement, sentiment and, in some cases, performance. None of them scores the company across culture, process, digital maturity, skills and compliance in one readout, which is what a leadership team is usually trying to work out when it starts shopping for an engagement platform. Assessmentcloud scores all five dimensions at a flat monthly price with no per-employee meter and no annual minimum.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Decide whether you are buying engagement or an HR suite

Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome sell performance management with engagement attached. Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Peakon, CultureMonkey and Glint sell listening. Culture Amp straddles both. Quotes across those two groups are not comparable, and a vendor that looks expensive on engagement alone often looks reasonable once reviews and goals are in scope. Write down which you are actually buying before the first call.

02

Ask for the all-in annual total at your real headcount

Not a per-seat rate, not a starting-from figure. Ask each vendor for the year-one total at your exact employee count, with implementation, service tier and any consulting broken out as separate lines, and ask which lines are optional. Six of these vendors publish nothing, so this question is the only way to get numbers that sit next to each other.

03

Get the minimum and the term in writing before the demo

The floor and the commitment length decide affordability more often than the rate does. Ask for the minimum annual spend, the contract term, what happens to the price if headcount falls, and whether there is a true-down mechanism at all. Workday states no reduction mechanism for Peakon in its own filing, which is the sort of thing you want to find before signing rather than at renewal.

04

Score the company first, then buy the tool that fits the gap

Run a whole-company diagnostic before you commit to twelve months of engagement surveys. If culture is genuinely the weakest of your five dimensions, buy the listening platform with confidence. If process maturity or digital capability scores lower, an engagement tool will measure a symptom rather than the cause, and you will have spent the budget in the wrong place.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

Assessmentcloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about culture amp competitors

Lattice, 15Five, Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Workday Peakon, Viva Glint, Leapsome, Quantum Workplace, CultureMonkey and Gallup. Lattice and 15Five compete on performance management with engagement attached. Qualtrics, Perceptyx and Peakon compete at enterprise scale on listening. Viva Glint competes on price inside Microsoft shops. Gallup competes on one instrument, the Q12, rather than a platform.

Three of the ten. Lattice publishes $4 to $13 a seat a month by module with a $4,000 minimum annual agreement. 15Five publishes $4 to $16 per user a month billed annually. Microsoft publishes Viva Glint at $2, $6 or $12 per user a month depending on plan. Gallup publishes the Q12 at $20.00 per participant on its store. The rest quote only.

Nobody can answer that with certainty because Culture Amp publishes no price. What is knowable: Lattice publishes its rates, so you can calculate a Lattice number before any call, and Lattice sets a $4,000 minimum annual agreement. Culture Amp gives you three inputs to a quote and a size band. Compare the all-in annual totals at your headcount, not the rates.

Under 200, published pricing matters most, because you have the least negotiating leverage and the shortest procurement patience. Lattice and 15Five let you model a number in minutes. Watch the floors: Lattice charges a $4,000 minimum a year, so at 40 employees the effective seat cost is far above the list rate. Quantum Workplace and Peakon are effectively closed to you at that size.

15Five publishes no minimum spend, which makes it the lowest documented floor of the group, with Engage listed at $4 per user a month billed annually. Viva Glint at $2 a user a month is cheaper per seat but only as an add-on to an existing Microsoft 365 license. Lattice sets $4,000, Leapsome gates its customer success at $6,000 and Quantum Workplace states $15,000.

Ask every vendor the same four questions in writing: the all-in year-one total at your exact headcount, the minimum annual spend, the contract term, and what happens to the price if headcount falls. Then price the three vendors that do publish as a sanity check. Any quote that is far outside that band needs a reason you can explain to finance.

Two effectively do. Viva Glint requires a Microsoft 365 license as a prerequisite, so its published $2 a user a month is a marginal cost rather than a total. Workday Peakon can be bought standalone, which Workday states in its own marketplace listing, but its native HRIS integration story is strongest for companies already running Workday HCM.

No. Read on its pricing page in September 2026, Culture Amp publishes no dollar figures, no per-employee rate and no minimum. It states that cost depends on the number of employees, the product chosen, and the service tier, and that all products are billed annually. The per-employee figures circulating on review sites are reconstructed from old contracts and disagree with each other sharply.

Score the whole company first. An engagement platform measures culture signals well and says nothing about process maturity, digital capability, skills coverage or compliance readiness. If one of those four is the weaker score, a year of pulse surveys will describe the symptom rather than the cause. Assessmentcloud scores all five dimensions at a flat monthly price with no per-employee meter.
