Leapsome competitors and what twelve rival vendors charge a 200-person company

Leapsome now prints a card, so the comparison is finally possible. The catch is the platform line under every module, free only on purchases made by 31 December. This page puts Leapsome and twelve rivals on one sheet at 200 employees, the headcount Leapsome's own estimator opens on.

DIRECT ANSWER

Leapsome's main competitors are Lattice, 15Five, Culture Amp, HiBob, BambooHR, Workday Peakon, Small Improvements, Workleap, PerformYard, Betterworks, Microsoft Viva Glint and Quantum Workplace. Leapsome lists Performance Reviews at $7 and Engagement Surveys at $4 per employee a month, on top of a required Agentic HRIS Foundation that lists at $7 and is free only on purchases made by 31 December (leapsome.com/pricing, read 7 October 2026). For a 200-person company buying performance reviews plus engagement surveys, our arithmetic on each vendor's published rates puts year one at $26,400 on Leapsome with the platform waived and $43,200 at full list, $33,600 on Lattice, $36,000 on 15Five and $21,600 on Small Improvements. Culture Amp, HiBob and Workday Peakon publish no price. Lattice is the closest like-for-like rival, Small Improvements the cheapest per-seat card at this size, with Workleap Standard at $14,599 by our arithmetic on its $4,999 base plus $32 per manager a month and an assumed 25 managers, and HiBob or BambooHR the rivals when the HRIS is what you are really buying.

Go deeper: this dimension works alongside what Leapsome publishes on price and Culture Amp vs Leapsome, and the guides on leapsome vs lattice and leapsome vs qualtrics show the frameworks behind the scoring.

What each Leapsome competitor publishes on price, read at source

Leapsome and HiBob were read on their own pricing pages on 7 October 2026 and Workleap on 15 October 2026; Lattice, 15Five, Small Improvements, PerformYard, BambooHR and Culture Amp on 5 October; Viva Glint, Quantum Workplace, Betterworks and the Workday Peakon filing between 21 September and 2 October. The last column is our arithmetic for a 200-person company buying performance reviews plus engagement surveys at list price for one year. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the table says so rather than repeating an estimate from a review site.

Each of the main rivals has its own deeper page. Leapsome pricing works through the platform line and the year-two price, Leapsome vs Lattice pricing sets the two closest suites side by side, Culture Amp vs Leapsome covers the listening-first rival, and Leapsome vs Qualtrics pricing covers the enterprise end. For individual vendor terms see Lattice pricing, 15Five pricing and Betterworks pricing. The same exercise at other headcounts lives on Lattice competitors (50 employees), Culture Amp competitors and Qualtrics competitors (500 employees).

CU-01

What you get

Lattice is the closest swap, module for module

Lattice sells the same shape of product as Leapsome: reviews, goals, engagement, compensation and an HRIS layer, priced per seat per module. Its card lists Performance at $10 and Engagement at $4 a seat a month over a $4,000 minimum annual agreement. At 200 employees the floor never binds, so the comparison is rate against rate, and Lattice has no separate platform line to add.

The platform line decides the year-two price

Leapsome's FAQ says you cannot buy a module without the platform, because every module reads from the employee record. The Agentic HRIS Foundation lists at $7 per employee a month and shows $0 only for purchases made by 31 December. At 200 people that line alone is $16,800 a year at list. Ask every Leapsome quote what the platform costs at renewal, then compare that number, not the launch number.

Small Improvements is the cheapest published card at 200

At 200 employees buying reviews plus engagement, Small Improvements Elevate comes to $21,600 a year at list, against $26,400 on Leapsome with the waiver and $33,600 on Lattice. Workleap Standard comes to $14,599, its $4,999 base plus $32 per manager a month on our assumption of 25 managers, one for every eight employees, rounded up. Workleap does not publish a manager ratio or say whether the base includes any, so confirm the count in the quote. These are our multiplications of published list rates, not quotes.

HiBob and BambooHR compete on the HRIS, not the reviews

Leapsome now sells itself as an HRIS first, which puts it against HiBob and BambooHR. HiBob publishes no price and routes every module to a demo. BambooHR lists Pro, the plan where performance management sits, from $17.50 per employee a month. If the system of record is the real purchase, these two belong on the list. If reviews and surveys are the job, they are more platform than you need.

Three rivals answer a narrower question

Culture Amp, Viva Glint and Quantum Workplace are listening tools first. Culture Amp publishes no price, Viva Glint costs $2.00 a user a month on top of a Microsoft 365 enterprise subscription, and Quantum Workplace starts at $15,000 a year. If engagement measurement is the only job, one of them may beat a modular suite. If reviews matter, they do not replace Leapsome.

What none of the thirteen measure

Every vendor on this page runs a people process. None of them scores whether the company's processes, digital tools, skills coverage or compliance posture are what holds performance back. AssessmentCloud scores all five dimensions, culture and engagement, process maturity, digital maturity, skills gaps and compliance readiness, into one 0 to 100 report against an industry median, at a flat published price. It does not run performance reviews and is not a Leapsome replacement for that job.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Name the modules you are actually buying

Write down whether the money is for reviews, goals, engagement surveys, learning, compensation or the HRIS itself. Leapsome and Lattice sell all of them; Small Improvements, PerformYard and Betterworks center on reviews; Culture Amp and Viva Glint center on listening; HiBob and BambooHR are HR systems with performance inside. A rival that is cheaper on a different bundle is not cheaper.

02

Price every vendor at your own headcount

Multiply each published per-employee rate by your headcount and twelve, then add Leapsome's platform line at list for year two and check each vendor's floor: Lattice $4,000, Quantum Workplace $15,000, Viva Glint 50 seats, Small Improvements 30 users on Elevate. For HiBob, Culture Amp and Workday Peakon, ask for an all-in year-one figure in writing.

03

Get the term, the waiver and the renewal in writing

Leapsome ties its platform waiver and its Accelerator Program to a 31 December signing date, Lattice bills annually in US dollars, and Workday's UK public sector filing for Peakon shows a 3-year term on the full headcount. Ask every rival for the term, the renewal uplift and what happens when headcount falls. Those lines move the three-year total more than any feature grid.

04

Measure the company before you buy another people suite

Run one whole-company diagnostic first. If culture and engagement is the weakest dimension, buy the review or listening suite with confidence. If process or digital maturity scores lower, a better review cycle will measure the symptom rather than the cause.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

AssessmentCloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about leapsome competitors

Leapsome's main competitors are Lattice, 15Five, Culture Amp, Small Improvements, Workleap, PerformYard and Betterworks in performance and engagement, HiBob and BambooHR on the HRIS side, and Workday Peakon, Viva Glint and Quantum Workplace where the buyer only wants engagement surveys. Lattice is the closest match module for module.

Lattice is Leapsome's biggest competitor because it sells the same modular bundle of reviews, goals, engagement, compensation and HRIS, priced per seat per module, to the same mid-size buyers. Culture Amp is the usual rival when engagement survey science matters more than reviews, and HiBob when the HR system of record is the main purchase.

While the platform fee is waived, yes. By our arithmetic on published list rates, a 200-person company buying reviews plus engagement pays $26,400 a year on Leapsome against $33,600 on Lattice. Once Leapsome's $7 platform line is charged at list, the same purchase comes to $43,200, which is more than Lattice. Get the renewal price in writing.

Leapsome lists Performance Reviews at $7, Recruiting at $5, Goals and OKRs, Engagement Surveys and Learning at $4, and Compensation and Time Tracking at $3 per employee a month. Every plan needs the Agentic HRIS Foundation, which lists at $7 and is free on purchases made by 31 December. There is no setup fee, and discounts appear only in the quote.

Yes. Leapsome now sells its Agentic HRIS Foundation as the base of every plan, covering employee profiles, absence management, documents, payroll prep and core workflows, with the talent modules on top. That puts it against HiBob and BambooHR as well as against review and engagement tools like Lattice and 15Five.

Neither is better in general. Leapsome is stronger when you want reviews, goals, learning, pay and an HRIS in one system. Culture Amp is stronger on engagement survey design and external benchmarks. Leapsome publishes its prices and Culture Amp does not, so comparing them on cost needs a Culture Amp quote at your exact headcount.

Ask for the year-one total at your exact headcount, the minimum annual spend or seat minimum, the contract term, the renewal uplift, and whether any promotional waiver ends after year one. Leapsome's platform waiver, Lattice's $4,000 floor and Workday Peakon's 3-year term are the terms most likely to change the real cost.
