A company culture survey assesses the durable norms that shape how your organization behaves: trust in leadership, psychological safety, how decisions are made, what gets recognized, and whether stated values match daily reality. That is different from a pulse survey, which samples mood. Mood recovers after a good week; culture problems do not. Assessmentcloud's culture assessment measures seven culture dimensions with validated questions, scores each 0 to 100, and compares your results against the industry median, so you learn not just that trust in leadership is at 61 but that your industry median is 68 and yours is the outlier. Results feed the CU-01 CULTURE dimension of your whole-company report, where culture sits next to process, digital, skills, and compliance instead of being a standalone HR artifact. Culture data tends to be the earliest warning you get before regretted attrition shows up in the numbers, which is why we treat it as a scored diagnostic rather than a feel-good exercise. Go deeper: this dimension works alongside employee engagement surveys and organizational health assessment, and the guides on pulse survey questions and employee engagement survey questions show the frameworks behind the scoring.
Trust, psychological safety, recognition, decision-making, accountability, collaboration, and values alignment, each scored separately so you can see exactly where culture is strong or cracked.
Validated questions target durable norms rather than this week's mood, so results stay meaningful for quarters, not days.
Every dimension is placed against the industry median, so you know whether a 61 is normal for your industry or a genuine warning.
Responses are anonymous and results only render for groups of 5 or more, which is what makes people answer honestly.
Send the culture assessment
A validated question set covering seven culture dimensions, about 10 minutes per respondent, anonymous by default.
Review dimension scores
Each dimension lands as a 0 to 100 score against the industry median, with the biggest gaps flagged.
Work the culture plan
The report ranks the dimensions where focused effort tends to move the overall culture score most, with suggested first steps.
Engagement measures how motivated and committed people feel; culture measures the norms that produce those feelings, like trust, recognition, and how decisions get made. They correlate, but a company can have engaged people inside a culture that is quietly burning them out. Assessmentcloud scores both inside the CU-01 dimension.
Results render for any group of 5 or more, and dimension scores stabilize from roughly 15 respondents. Smaller companies still get value: the whole-company score and median comparison work at any size above the anonymity threshold.
Yes, as long as each department has at least 5 respondents. Cross-department comparison is often where the real finding is, because a healthy average can hide one struggling function.
