Culture Amp vs Leapsome pricing, and what each contract commits you to

Culture Amp and Leapsome both sell employee engagement and performance software, and neither will show you a per-employee rate before a sales call. What each does publish is the set of rules around the price: how the quote is built, how long you are locked in, whether you can try it first, and what size of customer gets a human to help with the rollout. This page puts those rules side by side, read on both vendors' own pricing pages on 30 September 2026.

DIRECT ANSWER

Neither Culture Amp nor Leapsome publishes a price. Culture Amp quotes on employee count, product and service tier, bills every product annually, and scales support by headcount (under 200, 200 to 999, 1,000 and up). Leapsome quotes on employees, modules and contract length, with a 1-year minimum term, a 14-day free trial, and Customer Success services only on contracts of US$6,000 a year or more.

Go deeper: this dimension works alongside Culture Amp pricing and Leapsome pricing, and the guides on leapsome vs lattice and peakon vs culture amp show the frameworks behind the scoring.

Every vendor cell below was read on 30 September 2026 from cultureamp.com/pricing and leapsome.com/pricing, including both FAQs. Where a vendor states nothing, the cell says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate from a review site.

The honest reading: on price, you cannot rank these two from public information, and any page that tells you one is cheaper by a specific amount is quoting a review site, not the vendor. What you can compare is commitment. Culture Amp gives a 150-person company group support by default; Leapsome gives the same company a dedicated manager only if its annual contract reaches US$6,000. For the full breakdown of each vendor on its own, see Culture Amp pricing and Leapsome pricing, and if Lattice is also on the list, the Leapsome vs Lattice pricing comparison runs its published card at three headcounts.

What you get

Both quote, and both quote on headcount

Culture Amp's FAQ says pricing depends on the number of employees, the product chosen and the service tier. Leapsome's FAQ says pricing depends on the number of employees, contract length and the modules you purchase. So the first input is the same on both sides, and the number you give each sales team should be identical. Decide before the first call whether you are quoting on every employee or only the people you plan to survey, and put that same figure in both requests, or the two quotes will not be comparable.

Culture Amp ties support to company size

Culture Amp lists three service bands on its pricing page. Under 200 employees you get group customer success, on-demand training resources and 24/5 chat and email support. From 200 to 999 employees you also get a one-on-one customer success partner and expert project management for implementation. At 1,000 and up it adds manager and executive training, a results call with a People Scientist, coaching and a pre-launch review. The help grows with headcount whether or not your spend does.

Leapsome ties support to contract value

Leapsome's pricing page carries a note that its Customer Success team's services are only available to customers who implement Leapsome with an annual contract of US$6,000 or more. Below that line you still get ongoing email support and the Success Center of articles and videos, but no dedicated Customer Success Manager. For a 60-person company buying one module, that line is the most important fact on the page, because it decides whether anyone at the vendor owns your rollout.

Leapsome states a 1-year minimum, Culture Amp bills annually

Leapsome writes it plainly: all contracts have a minimum term of 1 year. Culture Amp says all of its products are billed on an annual basis. In practice both are annual commitments, so the question for either sales team is not whether you can pay monthly, it is what happens at renewal: the notice window, whether headcount is trued up, and whether the renewal price is capped. Get all three in the order form.

Only one of them lets you try it before you talk to sales

Leapsome offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required, per its pricing FAQ. Culture Amp's pricing page routes you to a demo and a quote, with no trial offered there. If your team wants to click through the product before the procurement conversation starts, that difference decides the order in which you evaluate them.

Where AssessmentCloud fits next to both

AssessmentCloud is not a third engagement and performance suite, and it does not replace either vendor for a company that wants reviews, goals and continuous surveys in one system. It is a scored diagnostic of the whole company across culture, process, digital maturity, skills and compliance readiness, at a price printed on the page: Team at $49 a month and Business at $119 a month, or $24 and $59 a month billed yearly, with no minimum contract. Teams that are not sure which problem they are buying for often run it first.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Fix one headcount for both quotes

Write down the number of employees you will ask both vendors to price, and whether it is everyone or a pilot group. Send the same number to both.

02

Ask each vendor for a module-by-module price

Culture Amp sells Engage and Perform, and Leapsome sells modules individually or combined. Get the price of the module you need on its own before any bundle discount.

03

Check which side of the support line you land on

With Culture Amp, find your headcount band. With Leapsome, check whether the annual quote clears US$6,000. That tells you who will actually help you launch.

04

Put renewal terms in writing

Ask both for the notice period, headcount true-up rules and any renewal price cap before you sign an annual term.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

AssessmentCloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about culture amp vs leapsome

Neither vendor publishes a rate, so there is no honest way to say which is cheaper before you have two written quotes. Both price on employee count. Leapsome adds contract length and modules; Culture Amp adds product and service tier. Send both the same headcount and module list, then divide each annual quote by headcount and twelve to compare.

Culture Amp does not publish a price. Its pricing page says cost depends on the number of employees, the product chosen and the service tier, and that all products are billed annually. Service tiers are set by size: under 200 employees, 200 to 999, and 1,000 or more, each with more hands-on support.

Leapsome does not publish a per-employee rate. Its FAQ says pricing depends on employees, contract length and modules, that every contract has a minimum term of 1 year, and that multi-module and volume discounts are available. Customer Success services require an annual contract of US$6,000 or more.

Yes. Leapsome's pricing FAQ offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Culture Amp's pricing page offers a demo and a quote rather than a trial. If hands-on evaluation matters to your team, Leapsome is the one you can try first.

Culture Amp is the more specialized engagement tool: Engage covers engagement, pulse, onboarding, offboarding and DEI surveys with benchmarking and action plans. Leapsome is broader, with engagement as one module next to performance, goals, compensation and HR modules. Pick Culture Amp when survey depth and benchmarks are the point, Leapsome when you want one connected people platform.

Leapsome states that all contracts have a minimum term of 1 year. It does not publish a minimum dollar amount to buy, but it does publish that its Customer Success team only works with customers on annual contracts of US$6,000 or more, which works as a practical service floor.

Culture Amp publishes no minimum headcount or minimum price. Its smallest service band is organizations under 200 employees, which get group customer success, on-demand training resources and 24/5 chat and email support rather than a one-on-one customer success partner.

Among vendors that publish a card, Lattice sells Engagement at $4 per seat a month with a $4,000 annual minimum, and 15Five sells Engage at $4 with no published minimum. AssessmentCloud is a flat $49 or $119 a month for a scored whole-company diagnostic, which is a different job from a full engagement suite.
