Glint competitors and what eleven rival vendors charge a 300-person company

Viva Glint is the cheapest name on most shortlists at $2.00 a user a month, but only for a company already paying for Microsoft 365. This page puts Glint and eleven rivals on one sheet at 300 employees, engagement surveys only, using what each vendor prints on its own pricing page and saying plainly where a vendor prints nothing.

Viva Glint's main competitors are Qualtrics EmployeeXM, Culture Amp, Workday Peakon, Perceptyx, Lattice, 15Five, Leapsome, Workleap Officevibe, Quantum Workplace, CultureMonkey and SurveyMonkey. Microsoft lists Viva Glint at $2.00 per user a month, paid yearly, and Viva requires a qualifying Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license (microsoft.com, read 9 October 2026). For a 300-person company buying engagement surveys only, our arithmetic on each vendor's published rates puts year one at $7,200 on Glint, $14,400 on Lattice, 15Five or Leapsome with its platform fee waived, $39,600 on Leapsome at full list, and from $15,000 on Quantum Workplace. Culture Amp, Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Workday Peakon and CultureMonkey publish no price. Culture Amp and Qualtrics are the closest like-for-like rivals, Lattice and 15Five the rivals when reviews come next, and Glint stays the cheapest published card at this size if you already run Microsoft 365.

What each Glint competitor publishes on price, read at source

Viva Glint was read on microsoft.com on 9 October 2026; Leapsome and Workleap on 7 October; Lattice, 15Five and Culture Amp on 5 October; Perceptyx on 2 October; Quantum Workplace, CultureMonkey, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics and the Workday Peakon filing in September. The last column is our arithmetic for a 300-person company buying engagement surveys only, at list price, for one year. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the table says so rather than repeating an estimate from a review site.

Vendor Published price Minimum or term Year one at 300 employees, engagement only (our arithmetic)
Viva Glint $2.00 per user a month standalone, or inside Viva Workplace Analytics and Employee Feedback at $6.00 Paid yearly; Viva requires a qualifying Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license $7,200 standalone, $21,600 inside the $6 bundle
Qualtrics EmployeeXM None. Qualtrics says Employee Experience is priced on employee count Quote only Not published
Culture Amp None. Depends on headcount, product and service tier Billed annually, quote only; support bands under 200, 200 to 999 and 1,000 or more Not published
Workday Peakon No US list price. Quote only Workday's UK public sector filing shows a three-year term on the full headcount Not published
Perceptyx None. perceptyx.com/pricing returns a 404 Quote only Not published
Lattice Engagement $4 a seat a month; Performance $10, Foundations $13 $4,000 minimum annual agreement, billed annually, USD only $14,400
15Five Engage $4, Perform $11, Total Platform $16 per user a month Billed annually, no published minimum on standard packages $14,400 (Engage)
Leapsome Engagement Surveys $4 per employee a month, plus the required Agentic HRIS Foundation at $7 list Foundation free only on purchases made by 31 December $14,400 with the platform waived, $39,600 at full list
Workleap Officevibe Standard $4,999 a year plus $32 per manager a month, Pro $11,999 a year plus $32 per manager a month Enterprise quoted above 250 employees Quote only at 300
Quantum Workplace None per employee. Packages start at $15,000 $15,000 minimum annual contract From $15,000
CultureMonkey None. Based on employees surveyed and support level Quote only; 300 falls in the 200 to 999 support tier Not published
SurveyMonkey Advantage Annual $39 a month, one user, 15,000 responses a year Billed annually $468, a general survey tool without engagement benchmarks
AssessmentCloud Flat $49, $119 or $279 a month, or $24, $59 or $139 a month billed yearly No per-employee meter, no annual minimum; Business covers up to 500 respondents a month $708 billed yearly on Business. It scores the company, not individual engagement drivers

The main rivals each have a deeper page. Viva Glint pricing covers what the Microsoft license includes, Glint vs Qualtrics pricing and Culture Amp vs Glint pricing set Glint against its two closest rivals, and Viva Glint alternatives covers the switch itself. For individual vendor terms see 15Five pricing, Workday Peakon pricing, Quantum Workplace pricing and CultureMonkey pricing. The same exercise at other headcounts lives on Culture Amp competitors, Qualtrics competitors (500 employees) Leapsome competitors (200 employees) and Energage competitors (200 employees, including the award vendors).

CU-02

What you get

Glint is cheap only if Microsoft 365 is already paid for

The $2.00 rate is an add-on, not a product you can buy on its own. Microsoft's pricing page says Viva needs a license for a qualifying Microsoft 365, Office 365 or SharePoint plan, and Microsoft's service description marks Glint as unavailable inside any Microsoft 365 plan, E5 included. A company on Google Workspace is not comparing $2 against $4. It is comparing $2 plus a Microsoft subscription against $4.

Culture Amp and Qualtrics are the closest swaps, and neither prints a price

Analyst lists and buyer shortlists put Glint next to Culture Amp and Qualtrics EmployeeXM more than any other pair. Both sell the same core job, a validated engagement survey with benchmarks, driver analysis and manager dashboards. Culture Amp prices on headcount, product and service tier. Qualtrics says its Employee Experience products are priced on employee count. Neither puts a figure on the page, so you need both quotes at 300 in writing before Glint's $7,200 means anything.

Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome sell the survey for $4, then the rest of the suite

At $4 per employee a month, the engagement modules of Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome each come to $14,400 a year at 300 employees, twice Glint's list cost. What the extra money buys is the next step: reviews, goals and one-on-ones in the same system. Leapsome adds a required platform line at $7 that is waived only on purchases made by 31 December, which takes the same purchase to $39,600 at full list in year two.

Workleap and Quantum Workplace both change shape at this headcount

Workleap Officevibe lists Standard at $4,999 a year and Pro at $11,999, each plus $32 per manager a month, but sends companies above 250 employees to an Enterprise quote, so a 300-person buyer gets no published figure. Quantum Workplace prints no per-employee rate and a $15,000 minimum annual contract. Both are real rivals to Glint for a mid-size US company. Neither is cheaper than Glint on paper.

Workday Peakon, Perceptyx and CultureMonkey answer on a call

Workday Peakon has no US list price, and Workday's UK public sector filing shows a three-year term on the full headcount. Perceptyx has no pricing page at all. CultureMonkey is quote only, with support tiers under 200, 200 to 999 and 1,000 or more employees, so 300 lands in the middle tier. Budget these three after the call, not before.

What none of the twelve measure

Every vendor on this page asks employees how they feel about work. None of them scores whether the company's processes, digital tools, skills coverage or compliance posture are what holds engagement down. AssessmentCloud scores all five dimensions into one 0 to 100 report against an industry median, at a flat published price with no per-employee meter. It is not a Glint replacement for a company that wants a pure engagement program inside Microsoft Teams.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Check what Microsoft you already own

If the company runs a qualifying Microsoft 365 or Office 365 plan, Glint is a $2.00 add-on and the cheapest published engagement card at 300. If it does not, add the Microsoft license to Glint's line before you compare. Ask IT whether a Viva bundle is already in your agreement, because the $6 Viva Workplace Analytics and Employee Feedback bundle includes Glint.

02

Price every rival at your own headcount

Multiply each published rate by your headcount and twelve. Then apply each floor: Quantum Workplace $15,000, Lattice $4,000, Workleap's $32 per manager monthly charge and Enterprise cutoff above 250 employees, and Leapsome's platform line at list for year two. For Culture Amp, Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Workday Peakon and CultureMonkey, ask for an all-in year-one figure in writing.

03

Get the term and the renewal in writing

Microsoft bills Glint yearly, Workday Peakon's filing shows a three-year term, and Leapsome's waiver ends on 31 December. Ask every rival for the term, the renewal uplift, and what happens to the bill when headcount drops. Those lines move a three-year total more than any feature grid.

04

Score the company before you buy a listening tool

Run one whole-company diagnostic first. If culture and engagement is the weakest of the five dimensions, buy the engagement platform with confidence. If process or digital maturity scores lower, a better survey measures the symptom instead of the cause.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

AssessmentCloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about glint competitors

Viva Glint's main competitors are Qualtrics EmployeeXM, Culture Amp, Workday Peakon and Perceptyx in enterprise employee listening, Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome where engagement sits inside a performance suite, and Workleap Officevibe, Quantum Workplace and CultureMonkey in the mid-market. Culture Amp and Qualtrics are the two most often shortlisted against it.

Culture Amp is Glint's biggest competitor for US mid-size companies, and Qualtrics EmployeeXM at the enterprise end. Both sell a validated engagement survey with benchmarks and manager dashboards, the same job Glint does. Glint wins on price when Microsoft 365 is already paid for. Culture Amp and Qualtrics win when the company does not run on Microsoft.

On published prices, nobody can say, because Culture Amp prints none. Glint lists at $2.00 per user a month, which is $7,200 a year at 300 employees by our arithmetic, but it needs a qualifying Microsoft 365 license underneath. Get a Culture Amp quote at your exact headcount and compare it with Glint plus any Microsoft licensing you would not otherwise buy.

Yes. Microsoft's Viva pricing page says Viva requires a license for a qualifying Microsoft 365, Office 365 or SharePoint plan, and every employee who creates, edits or answers a Glint survey needs a Viva Glint or Viva Suite license. Glint is not included in any Microsoft 365 plan on its own, E5 included.

Viva Glint costs $2.00 per user per month, paid yearly, as a standalone add-on. It is also included in Microsoft Viva Workplace Analytics and Employee Feedback at $6.00 per user a month and in the Viva Suite at $12.00, both with an annual commitment. At 300 employees the standalone add-on is $7,200 a year.

On published list prices at 300 employees, nothing in the enterprise engagement category beats Glint's $7,200 when Microsoft 365 is already paid for. Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome (with its waiver) come to $14,400 for engagement alone. A general survey tool like SurveyMonkey costs less but has no engagement benchmarks or driver analysis.

Ask for the year-one total at your exact headcount, the minimum annual spend, the contract term, the renewal uplift, and what happens when headcount drops. Then ask whether the price assumes any other software you must already own. That last question is the one that makes Glint's $2.00 look different from its rivals' $4.00.
