Brilliant Assessments pricing and the cost of every plan, add-on and response tier

Brilliant Assessments prints its whole card in US dollars, which almost nobody in this category does. The card is metered on one thing, responses, and the jumps between tiers are steep. This page lists every plan, add-on and rule on the pricing page as of 8 October 2026, then works out what a consultant actually pays at real client volumes, with our arithmetic labeled as ours.

Brilliant Assessments costs $3,990 a year for Starter (1,200 responses), $4,990 for Professional (2,400) and $9,990 for Advanced (12,000), or $399, $499 and $999 a month on monthly billing. Enterprise plans run from $19,990 to $44,990 a year, Premium plans from $59,990 to $79,990, and above 250,000 responses the price is custom. Users are unlimited on every plan. Every row below was read on 8 October 2026 from brilliantassessments.com/pricing, with the annual plan cards confirmed by screenshot rather than only from page source. Brilliant states that all prices are in US dollars. The last column is our arithmetic, not a figure Brilliant prints: the annual price divided by the included responses, which is the real cost per response only if you use every one.

Two numbers decide most budgets. Volume: a solo consultant running eight client diagnostics of 120 respondents uses 960 responses, which fits Starter at $3,990 a year. The same consultant with three such clients of 1,000 staff each needs 3,000 or more and lands on Advanced at $9,990. Methodology: Brilliant pays off when the questions and the report logic are yours. If you want a benchmarked organizational diagnostic ready to run, our white label assessment tool on the Consultancy plan is $279 a month, and ScoreApp vs Brilliant Assessments pricing sets Brilliant against the cheapest scorecard builder. For the wider market, assessment software pricing compares per-response, per-seat and flat models, and the Brilliant Assessments alternatives for consultants page sets out where it wins and where it does not.

What you get

Responses are the only meter, and users are free

Every Brilliant plan includes unlimited users, a partner portal and white labeling, according to the line at the top of its pricing page. What changes between tiers is the response allowance and the number of supported admins. That makes Brilliant unusual next to tools that charge per seat: a ten-person firm pays the same as a solo consultant at the same volume. It also means your budget lives or dies on one forecast, how many people will answer your assessments this year.

There is a $5,000 cliff between 2,400 and 12,000 responses

Professional covers 2,400 responses a year for $4,990. The next annual tier, Advanced, covers 12,000 for $9,990, and there is nothing in between. A practice that expects 3,000 responses pays $5,000 more for headroom it may never use. By our arithmetic, the monthly Advanced plan at $999 is the same $11,988 a year whether you need 3,000 responses or 14,000. If your volume sits just above 2,400, plan the year so one large client survey does not push you over.

The annual price is exactly ten monthly payments

Across every tier on the card, the yearly price equals ten months of the monthly price: $3,990 against $399, $4,990 against $499, $79,990 against $7,999. Annual billing saves about 17% and gives you one pool for the year instead of a monthly allowance, which suits consultants whose volume arrives in lumps. One quirk worth knowing: monthly Advanced includes 1,200 responses a month, 14,400 over twelve months, against 12,000 on the annual plan.

Below Advanced, three add-ons can nearly double the bill

The card prices SSO at $500 as a one-off payment, HRIS and ATS integration at $500 a year, and AI Uploads, which lets reports draw on documents and slide decks you upload, at $3,000 a year. All three are included in Advanced, Premium and Enterprise plans. Our arithmetic: Professional plus all three add-ons is $8,990 in year one, against $9,990 for Advanced with five times the responses and a second supported admin. If you need AI Uploads, price Advanced first.

Starter plans carry over 95% of the features, Advanced carries all of them

Brilliant marks its Starter, Professional and Advanced cards as including over 95% of all features, with Advanced labeled 100% of features included. The capability list on the same page puts white-labelled assessments, reports, emails and portals, custom domains and email domains, partner portals, and Word and PDF reports in the platform. If one specific capability decides your purchase, ask Brilliant in writing which tier it starts on before you take the trial, because the 5% is not itemized on the card.

What Brilliant is built for, and where an organizational diagnostic differs

Brilliant Assessments is a report engine for people who own a methodology: you write the questions, the scoring and the report logic, and Brilliant turns each response into a branded report. It also sells assessment building from $1,000 if you want its team to build it. AssessmentCloud does a different job. It ships culture, process maturity, digital maturity, skills gap and compliance readiness diagnostics already built, scored 0 to 100 against an industry median, with white label on the Consultancy plan at $279 a month. Different purchase, and worth knowing which one you are making.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Forecast responses for the whole year, not per client

Add up every assessment you expect to run: client staff surveys, leadership 360s, lead-generation quizzes, repeat rounds. Count people who will answer, not people invited. Compare the total with 600, 1,200, 2,400 and 12,000. If you land within 10% of a ceiling, price the tier above, because a response cap that binds in November stops the client work you already sold.

02

Decide whether your firm qualifies for the small-business plan

The $2,990 a year or $299 a month plan is offered to businesses with fewer than three employees, with 600 responses a year or 50 a month. A solo consultant or a two-person partnership fits. Brilliant describes the next package as uncapped on business size, so a third hire moves you to Starter at $3,990 a year, even if your response volume stays the same.

03

List the add-ons you actually need

SSO matters if a corporate client insists its staff sign in through Microsoft Azure or Okta. HRIS and ATS integration matters if assessment data has to land in a client HR system. AI Uploads matters if reports must draw on documents you upload. Price each one against the card, then compare that total with the Advanced plan, which includes all three.

04

Run the trial on your real instrument, then compare one alternative

Brilliant offers a 14-day free trial. Use it to build one real assessment and one real report, because that is where the time goes. Then set the annual total next to one published alternative. If you do not need to author your own methodology, our Consultancy plan is $279 a month or $1,668 a year billed yearly, with five ready frameworks, white label and 25 client workspaces.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

AssessmentCloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about brilliant assessments pricing

Brilliant Assessments costs $3,990 a year for Starter, $4,990 for Professional and $9,990 for Advanced, or $399, $499 and $999 a month billed monthly, per its own pricing page. Enterprise plans run $19,990 to $44,990 a year and Premium plans $59,990 to $79,990. Firms under three employees can buy a $2,990 a year small-business plan.

The cheapest plan is the small-business subscription at $299 a month or $2,990 a year, offered to businesses with fewer than three employees. It includes 50 responses a month on monthly billing or 600 a year on annual. Every larger firm starts on Starter at $399 a month or $3,990 a year.

Yes. Brilliant Assessments offers a free 14-day trial, alongside a booked demo and a pre-recorded walkthrough. The trial is the time to build one real assessment and one real report, because the build is where most of the setup effort goes, and the plan you need depends on the response volume you can forecast.

Yes. Its pricing page says all plans include white labeling, and the capability list covers white-labelled assessments, reports, emails and portals, plus custom domains and email domains. Starter-family plans are marked as over 95% of features and Advanced as 100%, so confirm in writing which tier any specific branding control starts on.

No. Every plan includes unlimited users. Brilliant meters responses instead, and separately lists supported admins or managers per plan, from 1 on Starter to 15 on Elite. Extra supported admins cost $990 a year on Starter, $1,490 on Advanced and $1,990 on Enterprise and Premium plans.

Annually. On every tier the yearly price equals ten monthly payments, so annual billing saves about 17%: Starter is $3,990 a year against $4,788 paid monthly, by our arithmetic. Monthly billing gives a monthly allowance instead of an annual pool, which is worse for consultants whose client work arrives in bursts.

SSO through Microsoft Azure or Okta costs $500 as a one-off payment on Starter and Professional. It is included in all Advanced, Premium and Enterprise plans. HRIS and ATS integration is a separate $500 a year, and AI Uploads is $3,000 a year, both also included from Advanced up.

It depends on the job. Pointerpro is the closest report-engine rival, with its PDF builder on Plus from $4,999 a year, ScoreApp is a cheaper scorecard builder from $39 a month, and AssessmentCloud Consultancy is $279 a month for ready-made, benchmarked organizational diagnostics under your brand. Pick by whether you need to author your own methodology.
