Lattice pricing: what Lattice costs per seat, and the $4,000 annual minimum

Lattice is one of the few platforms in this category that publishes a real rate card, module by module, on a public page. That makes it unusually easy to budget for and unusually easy to get wrong, because the per-seat figure everyone quotes is not the number a smaller company actually pays. Below is the published card as it stood on 5 September 2026, the minimum annual agreement that overrides it, and the arithmetic at real headcounts.

DIRECT ANSWER

Lattice pricing starts at $13 per seat per month for the Foundations package, which bundles Performance and Goals & OKRs together with Manager Tools, Analytics, the AI Agent and integrations. Buying base products individually, the published card lists Performance at $10 per seat per month, Goals & OKRs at $8, and Engagement, the surveys, pulse, eNPS, onboarding and exit module, at $4. Two add-ons sit on top: Compensation at $6 per seat per month and Grow at $4. Enterprise packaging is quote-only and Lattice says it varies based on seats, complexity and scale. Every one of those figures was read off lattice.com/pricing on 5 September 2026 rather than reconstructed from a review aggregator, which matters here because most third-party guides currently report a base rate of $8, $10 or $11 and none of those matches the card. The number that decides whether Lattice is buyable at your size is not on the pricing cards at all. Lattice states in its own pricing FAQ that the minimum annual agreement is $4,000, and that this spend can be spread across different products and seat counts. It also bills all contracts annually, in United States Dollars only. By our arithmetic, at the $4 Engagement rate a company needs roughly 84 seats before it clears $4,000 a year, so any smaller team buying Engagement alone pays the floor rather than the headline. At 25 seats that works out at about $13.33 per seat per month, more than three times the advertised $4. Assessmentcloud is not a Lattice replacement and does not claim to be one. Lattice is a performance, goals and engagement suite that HR runs continuously; this platform scores five organizational dimensions, culture and engagement (CU-01), process maturity (PR-02), digital maturity (DM-03), skills gaps (SG-04) and compliance readiness (CR-05), into one 0 to 100 report against an industry median. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or reselling Lattice.

Go deeper: this dimension works alongside employee engagement survey pricing and Culture Amp pricing, and the guides on employee engagement software cost and assessment software cost per response show the frameworks behind the scoring.

LANDSCAPE

The published Lattice rate card, line by line, and where the $4,000 minimum overrides it

Every price in the first eight rows was read off lattice.com/pricing on 5 September 2026, including the minimum, the billing terms and the currency, all of which Lattice states in its own pricing FAQ. Nothing here is taken from a reseller or a review aggregator, which matters because the third-party guides ranking for this query currently report base rates of $8, $10 and $11 and none of them matches the card. The final block is clearly labeled as our own arithmetic rather than a Lattice figure. Lattice can change packaging at any time and negotiated enterprise rates differ from list, so treat this as the baseline you negotiate against rather than as a quote.

Line item What it contains Published price (checked 5 September 2026) What to watch
Foundations package Performance and Goals & OKRs together, plus Manager Tools (1:1s, Feedback, Weekly Updates, Q&A Boards), Analytics, AI Agent and integrations $13 per seat per month Marked most popular. Cheaper than buying Performance and Goals & OKRs separately at $10 plus $8
Performance (base product) Performance reviews, promotions, talent reviews, PIPs and calibration, plus Manager Tools $10 per seat per month The pricing FAQ separately says Performance can be unbundled for $8 a month. Get the applicable rate in writing
Goals & OKRs (base product) Cascading goals, progress updates, fully configurable cycles, reminder notifications, Salesforce and Jira integration $8 per seat per month Also covered by the same unbundling note in the FAQ
Engagement (base product) Pulse, surveys, eNPS, onboarding and exit surveys, action planning, AI analysis and trends $4 per seat per month This is the line most engagement buyers actually want, and the one the $4,000 minimum bites hardest
Compensation (add-on) Global benchmarks, comp bands, statements, cycle management, multi-chain approvals Plus $6 per seat per month Sold as an add-on on top of a base product, not standalone
Grow (add-on) Competencies, IDPs, career tracks, 1:1 integration, AI-powered growth areas Plus $4 per seat per month Also an add-on rather than a standalone purchase
Enterprise Custom packaging across seats and modules Not published, quote only Lattice says enterprise pricing varies based on seats, complexity and scale
Minimum annual agreement Applies across any mix of products and seat counts $4,000 per year Stated in the Lattice pricing FAQ. All contracts billed annually, in USD only

Now the part the rate card does not show, and it is our arithmetic rather than a Lattice figure. Engagement at $4 per seat per month is $48 a seat per year, so a company needs about 84 seats before its list total clears the $4,000 minimum. Below that the floor is the price. At 25 seats the list total is $1,200 but the invoice is $4,000, an effective $13.33 per seat per month. At 50 seats, $2,400 becomes $4,000, an effective $6.67. At 75 seats, $3,600 becomes $4,000, an effective $4.44. From roughly 84 seats upward the published $4 is the real rate. The same floor sits near 26 seats for the $13 Foundations package and near 20 seats for Foundations plus Engagement combined. None of those effective rates is published by Lattice; they are what you get by dividing the stated minimum by the seat counts, and we show the working so you can check it. The practical consequence is that Lattice reads as inexpensive on a card and lands as a mid-four-figure commitment for a small team, which is worth knowing before a demo rather than after. If you are weighing Lattice against the vendors that publish nothing at all, Culture Amp pricing and Perceptyx pricing set out exactly what each one discloses, Viva Glint pricing covers the one enterprise rate card that undercuts this one, and Lattice alternatives and Culture Amp vs Lattice handle the shortlist question directly. For the wider market view, employee engagement survey vendors compares which vendors publish and which only quote.

CU-01

What you get

Lattice publishes a real rate card, and that is worth using

Qualtrics, Culture Amp, Perceptyx, WorkTango, CultureMonkey and Workday Peakon all route pricing to a salesperson. Lattice puts six figures on a public page: Foundations $13, Performance $10, Goals & OKRs $8, Engagement $4, Compensation $6 and Grow $4, all per seat per month. Whatever you end up buying, that card is the cleanest anchor in the category. Take it into a negotiation with a quote-only vendor and ask them to price against it line by line.

The $4,000 minimum is the number that decides your fit

Lattice bills annually and requires a minimum annual agreement of $4,000, spreadable across products and seats. For a 400-person company that is invisible, because any realistic module mix clears it several times over. For a 40-person company it is the entire pricing conversation. Work out your list total first, then compare it with $4,000, and budget for whichever is higher. Almost no third-party pricing guide does this step for you.

Modules are priced separately, so scope drives the bill more than headcount

The gap between the cheapest and the fullest configuration is large. Engagement alone is $4 per seat per month. Foundations plus Engagement plus Compensation plus Grow is $27 by our addition of the published lines, which is close to seven times the entry module at the same headcount. Decide which modules you will genuinely run in year one before you compare Lattice against anything, because a full-stack Lattice quote and an engagement-only Lattice quote are different products at different prices.

Watch one inconsistency on Lattice own page

The product cards list Performance at $10 per seat per month, but the pricing FAQ immediately below states that Performance and Goals & OKRs can be unbundled and purchased individually for $8 per month. Both statements were live on 5 September 2026. We are not going to guess which one applies to a given deal, and neither should you: ask Lattice to put the unbundled Performance rate in writing before you model it, because $2 per seat per month across a few hundred seats is a material difference over a multi-year agreement.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

List the modules you will actually run in year one

Lattice prices per module, so the scope decision comes before the headcount decision. Write down whether you need Performance, Goals & OKRs, Engagement, Compensation and Grow, and be honest about which ones will still be unused in twelve months. Manager Tools, meaning 1:1s, Feedback and Updates, come with any base product per Lattice own FAQ, so do not let them be sold to you as an upgrade.

02

Multiply your seat count by the published lines and annualize

At 200 seats, Engagement alone is $9,600 a year, Foundations is $31,200, and Foundations plus Engagement plus Compensation plus Grow is $64,800, using the published per-seat figures and our own multiplication. Lattice bills annually and in USD only, so an annual total is the right unit of comparison rather than a monthly one.

03

Check the result against the $4,000 floor

If your list total comes in under $4,000 a year, the minimum annual agreement is your real price and your effective per-seat rate is higher than the card suggests. By our arithmetic the crossover for Engagement alone sits near 84 seats, and for the Foundations package near 26 seats. Below those points, compare Lattice against flat-priced or smaller-footprint tools rather than against other per-seat platforms, because the per-seat comparison stops being meaningful.

04

Separate the continuous program from the one-off diagnosis

If you need year-round performance cycles, goal tracking and an always-on engagement program, that is what Lattice sells and this page should end with you asking them for a quote. If what you actually need is a benchmarked read on where the organization stands right now, across culture, process, technology, skills and compliance, that is a different instrument with a different price shape, and it is usually the thing you do before committing to a per-seat platform for three years.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

Assessmentcloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about lattice pricing

Lattice costs $13 per seat per month for the Foundations package, which combines Performance and Goals & OKRs. Bought separately the published lines are Performance $10, Goals & OKRs $8 and Engagement $4 per seat per month, with Compensation adding $6 and Grow adding $4. All contracts are billed annually and carry a $4,000 minimum annual agreement.

Yes. Lattice states in its own pricing FAQ that the minimum annual agreement is $4,000, and that the spend can be split across different products and seat counts. Every Lattice contract is billed annually rather than monthly or quarterly, and Lattice bills in United States Dollars only. For teams under roughly 84 seats buying Engagement alone, that minimum, not the per-seat rate, is the price.

Lattice Engagement is published at $4 per seat per month, which covers pulse surveys, engagement surveys, eNPS, onboarding and exit surveys, action planning, and AI analysis and trends. Manager Tools, Analytics, the AI Agent and integrations come with it. At 200 seats that is $9,600 a year, but the $4,000 annual minimum applies below about 84 seats.

Per seat, billed annually. You pay for the seats you license rather than for the employees who actually complete a survey or a review cycle, so a low participation rate raises your real cost per response without changing the invoice. If you are comparing Lattice with a vendor that meters on responses, convert both to a cost per completed response before deciding.

Foundations bundles the Performance and Goals & OKRs base products along with Manager Tools, meaning 1:1s, Feedback, Weekly Updates and Q&A Boards, plus Analytics, the AI Agent and integrations. It is priced at $13 per seat per month and marked as the most popular option. Engagement, Compensation and Grow are not included and are priced separately.

Yes. Performance, Goals & OKRs and Engagement are sold as individual base products at $10, $8 and $4 per seat per month, and Compensation and Grow are add-ons at $6 and $4 on top. Note one inconsistency on the Lattice page as of 5 September 2026: the FAQ says Performance and Goals & OKRs can be unbundled for $8 a month, while the product card shows Performance at $10. Ask for the applicable rate in writing.

It depends on how far under. By our arithmetic a 25-seat company buying Engagement alone pays an effective $13.33 per seat per month because of the $4,000 floor, against a published $4. At 75 seats the effective rate is $4.44 and the gap has almost closed. Lattice is a capable platform, but below roughly 50 seats the minimum makes the per-seat comparison against smaller or flat-priced tools misleading.

Per its own pricing FAQ, Lattice says there are no additional costs for change management or implementation on its performance management software, and that all contracts include dedicated human support from its customer success team. It also points to Lattice University and a rollout toolkit as included change-management support. Confirm the scope of that statement for the specific modules you are buying, since the wording names performance management directly.
