WHERE LATTICE IS STRONG
Lattice is a genuinely good HR suite. It brings performance reviews, goals, one-on-ones, engagement, and compensation into one connected system, and companies that want to run their whole people process on a single platform get real value from that integration. Its performance management in particular is widely liked, and the engagement module benefits from sitting next to the performance data. If you are shopping for an HR operating system rather than a measurement tool, Lattice belongs on the shortlist.
If you want performance reviews, goals, engagement, and compensation managed in one HR platform, Lattice is the better pick.
WHERE ASSESSMENTCLOUD FITS
The distinction matters: Lattice is a suite you run HR on, where engagement is one module among several. Its published prices, verified on lattice.com/pricing in September 2026, are per seat per month in USD, billed annually: the Foundations package is $13 and bundles Performance with Goals and OKRs, or you can buy base products individually at Performance $10, Goals and OKRs $8 and Engagement $4, with Compensation at plus $6 and Grow at plus $4 as add-ons, all sitting above a $4,000 minimum annual agreement. Buying engagement alone is genuinely cheap; the cost arrives when you take the suite. It is not built to diagnose the organization either: it does not score your process maturity, digital readiness, skills gaps, or compliance readiness. Assessmentcloud is the opposite shape, a diagnostic rather than an HR system. It assesses the whole company across five dimensions, returns one 0-100 scored report benchmarked against the industry median, and hands you a prioritized action plan, without asking you to migrate reviews, goals, or comp. Pricing is flat rather than per seat: Business is $119 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly, so a 300-person company pays $1,188 a year. The same 300 people on Lattice cost about $14,400 a year for Engagement alone and about $97,200 a year if you take Foundations plus Engagement, Compensation and Grow, by our arithmetic on the published rates, which is the spread worth modeling before you compare. Many teams run both: Lattice to operate the people process, Assessmentcloud to measure the organization. Confirm current pricing with Lattice before you budget, since published figures and minimums change. The report is diagnostic input, not a certified audit.
