Lattice competitors and what ten rival vendors charge a 50-person team

Lattice prints its card, which makes it easy to compare against. The catch is the $4,000 annual minimum underneath it, and the fact that half its rivals price a different bundle. This page puts all eleven on one sheet at the same headcount.

DIRECT ANSWER

Lattice's main competitors are Leapsome, 15Five, Culture Amp, Workleap, Betterworks, Small Improvements, PerformYard, BambooHR and, for engagement only, Viva Glint and Quantum Workplace. Lattice publishes $4 to $13 a seat a month by module over a $4,000 minimum annual agreement (lattice.com/pricing, read 5 October 2026). For a 50-person company buying performance reviews plus engagement surveys, our arithmetic on each vendor's published rates puts year one at $8,400 on Lattice, $9,000 on 15Five, $5,400 on Small Improvements, from $4,999 on Workleap, and $6,600 to $10,800 on Leapsome depending on whether its platform fee is waived. Culture Amp publishes no price. Leapsome is the closest like-for-like rival, Small Improvements and Workleap are the cheapest published options at this size, and Culture Amp is the pick when survey science matters more than reviews.

Go deeper: this dimension works alongside what Lattice publishes on price and Culture Amp vs Lattice, and the guides on leapsome vs lattice and 15five vs lattice show the frameworks behind the scoring.

What each Lattice competitor publishes on price, read at source

Every cell below was read off the vendor's own pricing page on 5 October 2026, except Leapsome, Culture Amp, Viva Glint and Quantum Workplace, which were last read on 1 and 2 October. The last column is our arithmetic for a 50-person company buying performance reviews plus engagement surveys at list price for one year. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the table says so rather than repeating an estimate from a review site.

Vendor Published price Minimum or term Year one at 50 employees, reviews plus engagement (our arithmetic)
Lattice $4 to $13 a seat a month by module. Performance $10, Engagement $4, Foundations $13 $4,000 minimum annual agreement, billed annually, USD only $8,400 (Performance $10 plus Engagement $4)
Leapsome Engagement Surveys $4, Performance Reviews $7 per employee a month, plus a required platform fee ($7 list, waived if bought by 31 December) No minimum term stated on the pricing page $6,600 with the platform waived, $10,800 at full list
15Five Engage $4, Perform $11, Total Platform $16 per user a month Billed annually, no published minimum on standard packages $9,000 (Engage plus Perform)
Small Improvements Launch $3, Grow $6, Elevate $9 per user a month Billed annually; 20-user minimum on Launch and Grow, 30 on Elevate $5,400 (Elevate, which covers engagement and performance)
Workleap Standard from $4,999 a year, Pro from $11,999 a year Billed annually; Enterprise quoted above 250 employees From $4,999 (Standard includes performance and engagement reports)
PerformYard $5 to $15 per person a month for the Performance plan Per seat, billed annually $3,000 to $9,000 on the published range; ask for the exact rate
Betterworks Performance $8, Talent $9 per user a month Engagement surveys only in the custom-priced Enterprise tier; Betterworks says it fits 500+ employees best $4,800 for performance alone; engagement is quote only
BambooHR Core from $10.25, Pro from $17.50, Elite from $25 per employee a month; flat $250, $425 or $650 a month at 25 employees or fewer Month-to-month or longer terms From $10,500 on Pro, which is where performance management sits, as part of a full HRIS
Culture Amp None. Depends on headcount, product and service tier Billed annually, quote only Not published
Viva Glint $2.00 per user a month standalone Paid yearly, 50-seat license minimum, Microsoft 365 enterprise subscription required $1,200 for engagement alone; no performance reviews
Quantum Workplace None per employee. Packages start at $15,000 $15,000 minimum annual contract $15,000, the floor, whatever the module mix
AssessmentCloud Flat $49, $119 or $279 a month, or $24, $59 or $139 a month billed yearly No per-employee meter, no annual minimum $708 billed yearly on Business. Not a review tool: it scores the company, not individuals

Each of the main rivals has its own deeper page. Lattice pricing works through the $4,000 floor seat count by seat count, Leapsome vs Lattice pricing sets the two closest suites side by side, 15Five vs Lattice pricing runs both cards at 50, 150 and 400 employees, and Culture Amp vs Lattice covers the listening-first alternative. For individual vendor terms see Leapsome pricing, 15Five pricing and Betterworks pricing. The same exercise for two other vendors lives on Culture Amp competitors and Perceptyx competitors.

CU-01

What you get

Leapsome is the closest swap, feature for feature

Leapsome sells the same shape of product as Lattice: reviews, goals, engagement surveys, compensation and an HRIS layer, priced per employee per module. Its US card lists Engagement Surveys at $4 and Performance Reviews at $7 per employee a month, plus a required platform fee of $7 that it waives for buyers who sign by 31 December. If you are leaving Lattice because of the product rather than the price, this is the shortlist of one.

The $4,000 floor decides more than the seat rate

Lattice states in its own pricing FAQ that the minimum annual agreement is $4,000. Engagement alone at $4 a seat is $48 a seat a year, so a company needs about 84 seats before the card, rather than the floor, sets the bill. Small Improvements has a floor too, but it is expressed in users: 20 on its Launch and Grow plans, 30 on Elevate. Ask every rival for its floor before you compare rates.

Three rivals beat Lattice on price at 50 people

At 50 employees, buying reviews plus engagement, Small Improvements Elevate comes to $5,400 a year at list, Workleap Standard starts at $4,999 a year, and Leapsome lands at $6,600 if the platform fee is waived. Lattice is $8,400 for the same two modules. Those are our multiplications of published list rates, not quotes, and every one of these vendors discounts in a sales conversation.

Two rivals answer a different question

Culture Amp and Viva Glint are listening platforms first. Culture Amp publishes no price and leads with survey science and external benchmarks; Viva Glint costs $2.00 a user a month on top of a Microsoft 365 enterprise subscription. If engagement measurement is the real job and reviews are secondary, they belong on the list. If reviews are the job, they do not replace Lattice.

What none of the eleven measure

Every vendor on this page runs a people process. None of them scores whether the company's processes, digital tools, skills coverage or compliance posture are what is holding performance back. AssessmentCloud scores all five dimensions, culture and engagement, process maturity, digital maturity, skills gaps and compliance readiness, into one 0 to 100 report against an industry median, at a flat published price. It does not run performance reviews, and it is not a Lattice replacement for that job.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Name the module you are actually buying

Write down whether the money is for reviews, goals, engagement surveys, compensation or an HRIS. Lattice and Leapsome sell all five; Small Improvements and PerformYard center on reviews; Culture Amp and Viva Glint center on listening; BambooHR is an HRIS with performance inside its Pro plan. A rival that is cheaper on a different bundle is not cheaper.

02

Price every vendor at your own headcount

Multiply each published per-seat rate by your employee count and twelve, then check it against that vendor's floor. At 50 people Lattice's floor never binds for reviews plus engagement; at 25 people buying engagement alone it is the whole price. Do the same sum for every vendor that publishes, and ask the rest for an all-in year-one figure.

03

Get the term, the floor and the renewal in writing

Lattice bills annually and in US dollars only. 15Five bills annually. Small Improvements bills annually with user minimums. Leapsome ties its platform waiver to a 31 December signing date, so ask what the platform line costs at renewal. Those answers change the year-two total more than any feature grid does.

04

Measure the company before you buy another people tool

Run one whole-company diagnostic first. If culture and engagement is your weakest dimension, buy the review or listening suite with confidence. If process or digital maturity scores lower, a better review cycle will measure the symptom rather than the cause.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

AssessmentCloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about lattice competitors

Lattice's main competitors are Leapsome, 15Five, Culture Amp, Workleap, Betterworks, Small Improvements, PerformYard and BambooHR in performance management, plus Viva Glint and Quantum Workplace where the buyer only wants engagement surveys. Leapsome is the closest match module for module. Small Improvements and Workleap compete hardest on price at small headcounts.

Leapsome is the closest competitor because it sells the same modular bundle of reviews, goals, engagement, compensation and HRIS, priced per employee per module. 15Five is the most common rival for small and mid-size companies, and Culture Amp is the usual rival when the buyer cares more about engagement survey science than about reviews.

Yes, at small headcounts. By our arithmetic on published list rates, a 50-person company buying reviews plus engagement pays $8,400 a year on Lattice, against $5,400 on Small Improvements Elevate and from $4,999 on Workleap Standard. Below about 84 seats, a company buying Lattice Engagement alone pays the $4,000 minimum rather than the $4 card rate.

Lattice publishes $13 per seat per month for its Foundations package, and individual base products at Performance $10, Goals and OKRs $8 and Engagement $4 per seat per month, with Compensation at $6 and Grow at $4 as add-ons. Every contract is billed annually in US dollars and carries a $4,000 minimum annual agreement.

Both sell performance management with engagement attached and both publish their cards. 15Five lists Engage at $4 and Perform at $11 per user a month with no published minimum on standard packages, and adds paid coaching and manager tools. Lattice lists Performance at $10 and Engagement at $4 per seat a month over a $4,000 annual floor.

Neither is better in general. Lattice is stronger on performance reviews, goals and compensation in one system. Culture Amp is stronger on engagement survey design and external benchmarks. Lattice publishes its prices and Culture Amp does not, so a buyer comparing the two on cost has to get a Culture Amp quote at their exact headcount.

Ask for the year-one total at your exact headcount, the minimum annual spend or user minimum, the contract term, what the price does at renewal, and whether any promotional waiver ends after year one. Leapsome's platform waiver and Lattice's $4,000 floor are the two terms most likely to change the real cost.
