Organizational assessment: frequently asked questions
Everything buyers ask before running their first assessment: what gets scored, where benchmarks come from, what happens to respondent data, and what a score is honestly worth.
No. Assessmentcloud results are diagnostic input, not a certified audit. The compliance readiness dimension tells you how prepared you are and lists the gaps to close, which is exactly what you want to know before paying an auditor or an audit-automation platform, but only an accredited auditor can certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or a legal framework. We state this on every report.
No, plans are flat per month with the whole company included. Per-employee tools at $8 to $22 per employee a month cost a 300-person organization roughly $29,000 to $79,000 a year. Assessmentcloud Business is $119 a month, or $99 a month billed yearly ($1,188 a year), whether you have 30 people or 500 respondents a month.
Setup takes under 20 minutes because the frameworks, question sets, and scoring models are ready made. Respondents answer in 10 to 15 minutes from any device with no account needed, and the report scores itself as responses arrive, so most companies see a complete scored readout within a week of sending invites.
Four areas, five scored dimensions: culture and engagement (CU-01), process maturity (PR-02), digital maturity (DM-03), skills gaps (SG-04), and compliance readiness (CR-05), plus a leadership axis in the health polygon. Each scores 0 to 100 and rolls into one company index benchmarked against your industry median.
Yes. The Consultancy tier at $279 a month puts your logo and colors on assessments and reports, separates each client into its own workspace, benchmarks across your client portfolio, and gives you shareable client report links. The price is listed on the pricing page, no quote call required.
The benchmark rails you see on the site today are illustrative, marked as sample data so nobody mistakes them for a customer average. As real assessments accumulate, benchmarks will become medians grouped by sector and company size band, refreshed as new assessments complete, with segments too small to be statistically meaningful rolled up to the nearest wider segment instead of showing invented precision.
Responses are anonymized in reports, individual answers are never shown to managers, and small groups are suppressed so nobody can be identified by elimination. Data is handled GDPR-shaped: export and deletion on request, EU hosting available on Enterprise. The privacy policy spells out retention periods.
Engagement tools measure how people feel, which is one of our five dimensions. Assessmentcloud also scores how the company runs: process maturity, digital maturity, skills coverage, and compliance readiness, in one report. You get the whole-company picture for the price of a point tool, without per-employee fees.
No. The platform is self-serve: ready-made frameworks, plain-language questions, automatic scoring, and an action plan written in operator language. It productizes the diagnostic that consulting firms run at five to six figure engagement prices. If you work WITH consultants, they can run it white-labeled for you.
Quarterly for the dimension you are actively working on, twice a year for the full readout. The value compounds on the second assessment: the trend line shows whether the action plan moved the score, and benchmarks show whether you gained on the median or just rode an industry-wide shift.
Yes, the Team plan runs one assessment area at $49 a month, and most companies start with culture and engagement or skills. You can upgrade to Business later and the scores carry over, so the first assessment becomes the baseline for the whole-company index.
No, there is no free tier. Create an account and you get one free assessment: a single area, a real respondent link and the real scored report, once. It is a single run rather than an allowance that comes back every month, so when you want your whole company measured you pick a plan. Paid plans start at $49 a month flat, and we would rather price plainly than fund a free tier by upselling you mid-assessment.
Yes. Cancel whenever you want and the subscription runs until the end of the period you already paid for, no lock-in contract. We do not refund partial periods except where the law requires it. Full terms are on the terms page.
