Energage competitors and what twelve rival vendors charge a 200-person company

Energage gives the Top Workplaces award away for free and publishes no price for the platform it sells next to it. That makes the vendor hard to compare. This page puts Energage and twelve rivals on one sheet at 200 employees, engagement surveys only, using what each vendor prints on its own pricing page and saying plainly where a vendor prints nothing.

DIRECT ANSWER

Energage's main competitors are Great Place To Work and Quantum Workplace, the two other US vendors that pair an employee survey with a public workplace award, followed by Culture Amp, Qualtrics EmployeeXM, Viva Glint, Workday Peakon and Perceptyx in engagement software, Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome inside performance suites, and Workleap Officevibe and CultureMonkey in the mid-market. Energage publishes no platform price (energage.com/pricing returned a 404 on 12 October 2026), while entering Top Workplaces costs nothing. For a 200-person company buying engagement surveys only, our arithmetic on each rival's published rates puts year one at $4,800 on Viva Glint with Microsoft 365 underneath, $9,600 on Lattice, 15Five or Leapsome with its platform fee waived, $14,599 on Workleap Officevibe Standard (its $4,999 base plus $32 per manager a month, on our assumption of 25 managers at one per eight employees), and from $15,000 on Quantum Workplace. Great Place To Work, Culture Amp, Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Workday Peakon and CultureMonkey publish no price.

Go deeper: this dimension works alongside what Top Workplaces costs to enter and Great Place To Work certification cost, and the guides on top workplaces vs great place to work and great place to work vs culture amp show the frameworks behind the scoring.

What each Energage competitor publishes on price, read at source

Every row was read on the vendor's own site on 12 October 2026, except Qualtrics, Perceptyx, CultureMonkey and the Workday Peakon filing, which were read between late September and early October. Workleap was re-read on 15 October 2026. The last column is our arithmetic for a 200-person company buying engagement surveys only, at list price, for one year. Where a vendor publishes nothing, the table says so rather than repeating an estimate from a review site.

Vendor Published price Minimum or term Year one at 200 employees, engagement only (our arithmetic)
Energage None for the platform. Top Workplaces entry is free Demo request only; 35 employee minimum and 35 percent response rate for awards Award free, platform not published
Great Place To Work None. Cost varies by company size and services chosen Certification valid 12 months; 10 or more employees Not published
Quantum Workplace None per employee. Base price set by total employees Packages start at $15,000 From $15,000
Culture Amp None. Depends on headcount, product and service tier Billed annually; 200 falls in the 200 to 999 support band Not published
Qualtrics EmployeeXM None. Priced on employee count Quote only Not published
Viva Glint $2.00 per user a month, paid yearly 50-seat minimum; qualifying Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license required $4,800 plus any Microsoft licensing
Workday Peakon No US list price Workday's UK public sector filing shows a three-year term on the full headcount Not published
Perceptyx None. perceptyx.com/pricing returns a 404 Quote only Not published
Lattice Engagement $4 a seat a month $4,000 minimum annual agreement, billed annually $9,600
15Five Engage $4 per user a month Billed annually, no published minimum on standard packages $9,600
Leapsome Engagement Surveys $4 per employee a month, plus Agentic HRIS Foundation at $7 list Foundation free only on purchases made by 31 December $9,600 with the platform waived, $26,400 at full list
Workleap Officevibe Standard starting at $4,999 a year, Pro starting at $11,999, each plus $32 per manager a month Enterprise quoted above 250 employees $14,599 on Standard with 25 managers at our assumed one per eight employees
CultureMonkey None. Based on employees surveyed and support level Quote only; 200 falls in the 200 to 999 tier Not published
AssessmentCloud Flat $49, $119 or $279 a month, or $24, $59 or $139 a month billed yearly No per-employee meter, no annual minimum; Business covers up to 500 respondents a month $708 billed yearly on Business. It scores the company, not an award entry

The award rivals each have a deeper page. Top Workplaces award sets out what the free Energage entry requires, Great Place To Work certification cost covers the paid alternative, and Top Workplaces vs Great Place To Work weighs the two programs against each other. For individual vendor terms see Quantum Workplace pricing, 15Five pricing, Lattice pricing and Viva Glint pricing. The switch itself is covered on Energage alternatives, and the same exercise at other headcounts lives on Glint competitors (300 employees) and Culture Amp competitors.

What you get

The award is free, so the real comparison is the paid platform

Energage states that there is no cost to nominate, participate in or win a Top Workplaces award. What a sales call prices is the platform sold alongside it: pulse surveys, workplace insights, 360 surveys, behavioral assessments, performance management, succession planning, compensation and employer branding. A buyer comparing Energage with a rival is comparing that bundle, so ask for it itemized before you line it up against anyone else's card.

Great Place To Work and Quantum Workplace are the like-for-like rivals

Only two other US vendors sell the same pairing of a survey and a public award. Great Place To Work runs paid Certification on its 60-statement Trust Index survey and says cost varies by company size and services chosen. Quantum Workplace runs Best Places to Work, prices its platform on total employees and states that packages start at $15,000. If the award is what you are buying, these are the two quotes to put next to Energage.

Culture Amp, Qualtrics and Peakon sell the survey without a badge

Culture Amp prices on headcount, product and service tier and bills annually. Qualtrics says Employee Experience is priced on employee count. Workday Peakon has no US list price. All three sell a validated engagement survey with benchmarks and driver analysis and none sells an award. Choose this group when the survey result is for managers to act on, not for the careers page.

Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome sell the survey for $4, then the suite

At $4 per employee a month, the engagement modules of Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome each come to $9,600 a year at 200 employees by our arithmetic. Lattice adds a $4,000 minimum annual agreement, which 200 employees clear. Leapsome adds a required platform line at $7 list that is free only on purchases made by 31 December, which takes the same purchase to $26,400 a year at full list.

Glint is the cheapest published card at 200

Viva Glint lists at $2.00 per user a month paid yearly, which is $4,800 at 200, but Microsoft requires a qualifying Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license and a 50-seat minimum. Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome with its waiver follow at $9,600. Workleap Officevibe lists Standard at $4,999 a year and Pro at $11,999, each plus $32 per manager a month, with Enterprise quoted above 250 employees, which comes to $14,599 on Standard at 200 by our arithmetic, assuming 25 managers at one per eight employees, rounded up.

What none of the thirteen measure

Every vendor on this page asks employees how they feel about work. None of them scores whether the company's processes, digital tools, skills coverage or compliance posture are what holds engagement down. AssessmentCloud scores all five dimensions into one 0 to 100 report against an industry median, at a flat published price with no per-employee meter. It does not run an award and will never put your logo on a Top Workplaces list.

HOW IT WORKS

From setup to scored report

01

Decide whether you are buying a badge or a survey

If recruiting needs a public award, the shortlist is Energage, Great Place To Work and Quantum Workplace, and the free Top Workplaces entry may be enough on its own. If managers need a survey they can act on, the shortlist is the engagement vendors, and the award question drops out.

02

Price every rival at your own headcount

Multiply each published rate by your headcount and twelve. Then apply each floor: Quantum Workplace $15,000, Lattice $4,000, Glint's 50 seats and Microsoft 365 license, Workleap's $32 per manager monthly charge and Enterprise cutoff above 250, and Leapsome's platform line at list after 31 December. For Energage, Great Place To Work, Culture Amp, Qualtrics, Perceptyx, Workday Peakon and CultureMonkey, ask for an all-in year-one figure in writing.

03

Ask Energage to separate the award from the platform

The award is free and the platform is not, so get the platform quote line by line: which modules, how many employees are counted, the term and the renewal uplift. A number that bundles employer branding assets with surveys is not comparable with a rival's survey-only card.

04

Score the company before you buy a listening tool

Run one whole-company diagnostic first. If culture and engagement is the weakest of the five dimensions, buy the engagement platform with confidence. If process or digital maturity scores lower, a better survey measures the symptom instead of the cause.

DIAGNOSTIC INPUT, NOT A CERTIFIED AUDIT.

AssessmentCloud scores tell you how ready you are and what to fix. They do not certify you against SOC 2, ISO 27001, or any legal framework, and we never claim they do. Only an accredited auditor can certify you. Run the diagnostic first, walk into the audit without surprises, and spend auditor hours on certification instead of discovery.

FAQ

Questions about energage competitors

Energage's closest competitors are Great Place To Work and Quantum Workplace, the two other US vendors that pair an employee survey with a public workplace award. In engagement software it competes with Culture Amp, Qualtrics EmployeeXM, Viva Glint, Workday Peakon and Perceptyx, and in the mid-market with Lattice, 15Five, Leapsome, Workleap Officevibe and CultureMonkey.

Great Place To Work is Energage's biggest competitor, because both sell employer recognition built on an employee survey. The difference is the commercial model. Top Workplaces costs nothing to enter, while Great Place To Work Certification is a paid program whose price varies by company size and services chosen.

Energage publishes no price for its platform and routes every pricing question to a demo request; energage.com/pricing returned a 404 on 12 October 2026. Entering the Top Workplaces award is free, with a 35 employee minimum and a 35 percent response rate to be considered. Budget the platform only after a written quote.

Yes. Energage states there is no cost to nominate, participate in or win a Top Workplaces award, and one survey qualifies a company for every eligible award within 12 months. The paid part is the separate Energage platform for pulse surveys, insights, performance and employer branding, which is quoted on request.

It depends on what you are buying. Energage is free to enter and publishes regional lists through more than 60 media partners, but needs at least 35 employees. Great Place To Work is paid, accepts companies with 10 or more employees and certifies when roughly 7 in 10 employees report a consistently positive experience.

The free Top Workplaces entry itself is the cheapest option if the award is the goal. For an engagement survey without an award, the cheapest published card at 200 employees is Viva Glint at $4,800 a year with Microsoft 365 underneath, followed by Lattice, 15Five and Leapsome with its waiver at $9,600, by our arithmetic on their list prices. Workleap Officevibe Standard comes to $14,599 once its $32 per manager monthly charge is counted, on our assumption of 25 managers at one per eight employees.

Ask for the year-one total at your exact headcount, the minimum annual spend, the contract term, the renewal uplift, and what happens to the bill when headcount drops. Then ask whether any award, badge or employer branding asset is included or sold separately, because that line is what makes Energage's quote look different from a survey-only vendor's.
