15Five vs Glint pricing comes down to two published cards with different floors. Microsoft lists Viva Glint at $2.00 per user a month, paid yearly, with a 50-seat minimum and a qualifying Microsoft 365 or Office 365 license underneath. 15Five lists Engage, its survey product, at $4 per user a month, Perform at $11 and Total Platform at $16, all billed annually. By our arithmetic, engagement surveys alone cost $6,000 a year on Glint and $12,000 on 15Five at 250 employees. Glint is cheaper on paper, 15Five buys performance reviews and coaching that Glint does not sell, and your Microsoft contract decides most of the rest.
Both pricing pages were read on 12 October 2026: microsoft.com for Viva Glint and 15five.com/pricing for 15Five. Every total below is our multiplication of a published list rate by headcount and twelve months. Neither vendor gave us a quote, neither is affiliated with us, and your negotiated price can differ from list.
How do 15Five and Glint compare on pricing?
Glint costs half of 15Five for the survey alone: $2.00 against $4 per user a month, both billed yearly. The gap flips once you need more than surveys, because Glint stops at listening while 15Five sells reviews, goals and manager coaching on the same card. Glint also needs Microsoft 365 underneath, which 15Five does not.
| Headcount | Viva Glint at $2.00 (our arithmetic) | 15Five Engage at $4 | 15Five Perform at $11 | 15Five Total Platform at $16 |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 100 employees | $2,400 | $4,800 | $13,200 | $19,200 |
| 250 employees | $6,000 | $12,000 | $33,000 | $48,000 |
| 500 employees | $12,000 | $24,000 | $66,000 | $96,000 |
| Minimum | Glint: 50-seat license minimum and a qualifying Microsoft 365 or Office 365 plan. 15Five: no minimum on standard packages; it says some optional add-ons may carry minimum requirements | |||
| Term | Glint: annual commitment that auto-renews. 15Five: contract billed annually | |||
The Perform and Total Platform columns are there because that is where most 15Five deals land. Engage is the like-for-like product against Glint. Perform is performance management (reviews, one-on-ones, goals and OKRs, 360 feedback, a talent matrix, career paths), and Total Platform is Engage and Perform together plus HR data tools. Glint has no equivalent of either, so comparing Glint with Total Platform compares a survey with a suite.
What sits on top of each list price
Neither card is the whole bill. On the Microsoft side, the extra cost is the license Glint rides on. On the 15Five side, it is the add-ons.
- Viva Glint: Microsoft's pricing page says Viva needs a qualifying Microsoft 365, Office 365 or SharePoint plan. Glint is also sold inside Microsoft Viva Workplace Analytics and Employee Feedback at $6.00 per user a month and inside the Viva Suite at $12.00, both on annual commitments. If IT already pays for one of those bundles, Glint may cost you nothing extra.
- 15Five add-ons, per its pricing page: Compensation Base Package $9 per user a month, Compensation plus Salary Benchmarking $11, Kona Notetaker $2 per employee a month, Kona Coach $19 per manager a month, Content $49 per manager a month, and live Coaching at $399 per credit. All billed annually.
At 250 employees with 25 managers, an Engage buyer who adds Kona Coach for every manager pays $12,000 plus $5,700, or $17,700 a year by our arithmetic. That is nearly three times Glint's standalone cost, and it is the realistic comparison for a company that wants managers to act on survey results rather than just read them. If the only thing you want from Kona is meeting notes and follow-ups, an AI office assistant that already sits in your calendar and inbox covers that job without a per-employee meter.
Should we go with 15Five or Glint?
Go with Glint if the company already pays for Microsoft 365, the goal is an engagement survey with benchmarks, and performance reviews live somewhere else. Go with 15Five if you want surveys, reviews, goals and manager coaching in one system, or if the company is not on Microsoft. The decision is usually made by your existing stack, not by the survey.
Three situations come up again and again with US buyers between 100 and 500 employees.
The Microsoft shop with reviews already solved. Reviews run in the HRIS, managers live in Teams, and HR wants a proper engagement survey. Glint is the cheapest credible option here, and $6,000 at 250 employees is hard to beat with any vendor that publishes a card. Check whether your Microsoft agreement already includes a Viva bundle before you buy the $2.00 add-on.
The Google Workspace company. Glint is not really $2.00 for you, because Microsoft's pricing page requires a qualifying Microsoft plan underneath. 15Five Engage at $4 is the simpler purchase, and if reviews are also on the to-do list, Perform at $11 or Total Platform at $16 replaces two vendors with one.
The company buying reviews first. Here Glint is not a candidate at all. The comparison is 15Five against Lattice, Leapsome and Culture Amp's performance product, which our 15Five vs Lattice pricing breakdown works through at 50 to 400 employees.

Is 15Five more expensive than Glint?
Yes for surveys alone: 15Five Engage lists at $4 per user a month against Glint's $2.00, so twice the cost at any headcount above Glint's 50-seat minimum. It stops being a like-for-like question once you add performance management, because Glint sells none. A company paying for Microsoft 365 and a separate review tool may still spend more in total.
Is Viva Glint included in Microsoft 365?
No. Glint is not included in any Microsoft 365 plan on its own, E5 included. It is a separate $2.00 per user add-on, or part of the $6.00 Viva Workplace Analytics and Employee Feedback bundle or the $12.00 Viva Suite. Microsoft also states a 50-seat license minimum for Viva Glint, so a 30-person company pays for 50.
What to ask both vendors before signing
- The all-in year-one total at your exact headcount, with every add-on and license on one page.
- For Glint, which Microsoft line the survey would sit on ($2.00, $6.00 or $12.00) and whether your current agreement already includes it.
- For 15Five, which add-ons carry their own minimums, and whether Kona Coach is priced on all managers or only the ones you name.
- The renewal uplift and the notice window, in writing. Glint's commitment auto-renews.
- What happens to the bill when headcount drops during the term.
For the full 15Five card with every add-on totaled at your headcount, see our 15Five pricing page. For what the Microsoft license includes and excludes, see Viva Glint pricing. If neither one fits, our Glint competitors page prices eleven rivals at 300 employees, and 15Five alternatives does the same from the other side.
Score the company before you buy a listening tool
Glint and 15Five both measure how employees feel. Neither tells you whether the processes, tools, skills or compliance gaps behind that feeling are what is actually dragging performance. Before you commit a year to either, run one AssessmentCloud diagnostic. It scores five dimensions, culture and engagement, process maturity, digital maturity, skills gaps and compliance readiness, into a single 0 to 100 report against an industry median, with the weakest areas ranked. If culture and engagement comes out weakest, buy the survey with confidence. If something else scores lower, you know where the money should go first. Plans are a flat monthly price with no per-employee meter, listed on our pricing page.
