Pointerpro vs ScoreApp Pricing for Consultant Reports

SEPTEMBER 2026 · 8 MIN READ · BY THE ASSESSMENTCLOUD TEAM

For a consultant who needs a branded PDF report at the end of an assessment, ScoreApp is the one of the two you can price today: Business is $99 a month, or $891 a year billed annually, and dynamic PDF reports start there. Pointerpro's report builder sits on ReportR, a quote-only tier with a signed contract, because its only published plan, Professional at $69 a month, builds questionnaires but not PDF reports. Without a PDF, the answer flips. Pointerpro Professional gives 2,000 submissions a month for $69, twice ScoreApp Business's allowance for less money.

Every figure below comes from the two vendors' own pricing pages: ScoreApp's read on 22 September 2026 and Pointerpro's on 25 September 2026, with both plan cards confirmed by screenshot. We are not affiliated with either company and do not resell either product. Where a number is our arithmetic rather than a published figure, the sentence says so.

Pointerpro vs ScoreApp pricing at a glance

The two tools look alike on a shortlist, because both build scored questionnaires with logic and branded results. They price very differently. ScoreApp publishes all four tiers and meters live scorecards, monthly responses and seats. Pointerpro publishes one tier and meters submissions, seats and, on the report tiers, PDF downloads.

The cheapest branded PDF report: ScoreApp Business against Pointerpro ReportR

Most consultants who shortlist these two want the same thing: a prospect or client answers a questionnaire, and a personalized report with their scores and your recommendations lands in their inbox under your brand. That report is where the tools part ways on price.

ScoreApp's comparison table marks "create and email a dynamic PDF" as not included on Starter and included from Business upward. So the floor for a branded PDF is $99 a month, or $891 a year on annual billing. Business also adds a custom domain, multiple result pages and 3 users, and it allows 10 live scorecards and 1,000 responses a month.

Pointerpro splits its card in two. Professional and Enterprise carry a ribbon reading "for questionnaire building", and ReportR and DistributR carry "includes report builder". The feature table then marks the drag and drop PDF report builder, report widgets, widget logic, the PDF download button on the final screen and PDF distribution by email as included only on the last two tiers. ReportR is priced on request, and Pointerpro's FAQ says a contract is signed for it. The same FAQ says the free trial covers Professional only and does not show report generation.

That is not a knock on Pointerpro's report builder, which is the stronger of the two. ReportR adds aggregated and team PDF reports, PowerPoint export and an AI prompt widget for report text, none of which ScoreApp lists. It does mean the two products are priced for different buyers. ScoreApp prices the PDF like a feature. Pointerpro prices it like a separate product line.

Where Pointerpro is the cheaper tool

Take the PDF out and Pointerpro becomes the better deal on volume. Professional at $69 a month includes 2,000 respondent submissions, unlimited questionnaires, removable branding, custom scoring, question logic and piping, dynamic final-screen messages and Zapier and Make connections. ScoreApp's nearest match on volume is Business at 1,000 responses a month for $99, and getting to 2,000 or more means Pro at $149 a month for 3,000.

So a marketing-led consultancy running a high-volume scorecard that ends on a scored results screen, with follow-up done by email or a call, pays less on Pointerpro. By our arithmetic from the published rates, Pointerpro Professional on monthly billing is $828 a year for up to 24,000 submissions. ScoreApp Pro on annual billing is $1,341 a year for up to 36,000 responses, and ScoreApp Business annual is $891 for 12,000.

ScoreApp answers with funnel features Pointerpro does not lead with: landing pages, abandon emails, audiences, Facebook Pixel and Google Analytics, and split testing on Pro. If the scorecard's job is to generate leads for a marketing team, those count.

What each costs at three real consultant volumes

These totals are our arithmetic from the published cards, not figures either vendor prints. Pointerpro's report tiers cannot be totaled because the price is a quote.

ScenarioPointerproScoreApp
Solo consultant, 50 client respondents a month, branded PDF requiredReportR, quote requiredBusiness annual, $891 a year
Small firm, 400 respondents a month across clients, PDF required, 2 usersReportR plus an extra user, quote requiredBusiness annual, $891 a year (1,000 cap, 3 users)
Lead-gen scorecard, 1,500 completions a month, results screen onlyProfessional, $828 a year at the monthly ratePro annual, $1,341 a year (Business caps at 1,000)

One caution on ScoreApp's side. Its help center says you are alerted at 80% and 100% of the monthly allowance, collection continues to 120% with lead data hidden until you upgrade, and past 120% the scorecard stops taking responses until the next cycle. Size the plan for your busiest month, not the average. Pointerpro resets its response and email counters on the first of each month and says submissions can be expanded, without printing the price of the expansion.

Seats, domains and white label

Both tools let you remove their logo on the cheapest paid plan, which settles the question most small practices ask first. The gap is at the domain. ScoreApp puts a custom domain on Business at $99 a month. Pointerpro lists full URL and email domain white labeling on Enterprise, which is quoted.

Seats split the other way. ScoreApp includes 3 users on Business and 5 on Pro, and SSO only on Enterprise. Pointerpro includes 1 user on every tier, including DistributR, and adds users on request. A two-partner firm on Pointerpro should get the seat price in the same quote as the tier.

Contracts, trials and where the data lives

ScoreApp is the lower-commitment start: monthly plans can be cancelled at any time, and every paid plan has a 14-day money-back guarantee. Annual plans commit you for the year. Pointerpro offers a 14-day trial on Professional, monthly payment on Professional and Enterprise only, and a signed contract on the report tiers. Annual Pointerpro plans can be invoiced against a purchase order and paid by bank transfer, which some corporate clients prefer.

Pointerpro's FAQ says it is hosted on AWS in Ireland, and in Australia for Australian users, and that it is ISO 27001:2022 certified. If you sell into US clients with a data-location clause, ask about the data residency options it mentions before you sign.

Where an organizational diagnostic fits between them

Neither vendor supplies assessment content. Pointerpro states it outright: it offers a do-it-yourself builder and does not provide any content for your assessments. That is right for a consultant with a proprietary model. It is slow for a consultant who needs to deliver a culture, process maturity or digital maturity diagnostic next month and would rather not design and validate an instrument first.

That is the gap our white label assessment platform fills. The Consultancy plan is $279 a month, or $232 a month billed yearly, listed on the pricing page. It ships five ready-made frameworks scored 0 to 100 against an industry median, puts your logo and colors on assessments and reports, keeps each client in a separate workspace, and includes 500 respondents a month across the account. You give up the authoring freedom Pointerpro offers. You get a benchmarked result in the first week.

If you sell the diagnostic as a paid engagement, the billing side matters as much as the software. Corporate clients on net-30 terms pay late more often than not, and automated invoice follow-up by email and SMS keeps the assessment fee from sitting unpaid while you run the next one.

Frequently asked questions

Is Pointerpro better than ScoreApp?

Pointerpro is better for personalized PDF and PowerPoint reports, team and aggregated reports, and delegated distribution through a portal, but those sit on quoted tiers. ScoreApp is better for lead-generation funnels, with landing pages, pixels and split testing, and it prices a PDF report at a listed $99 a month. Pick by whether the report or the funnel is the product.

Which is cheaper, Pointerpro or ScoreApp?

It depends on whether you need a PDF. With a PDF report, ScoreApp Business at $891 a year is the only listed price; Pointerpro ReportR is a quote. Without one, Pointerpro Professional at $69 a month for 2,000 submissions beats ScoreApp Business at $99 a month for 1,000 responses.

Does ScoreApp do PDF reports?

Yes, from the Business plan. ScoreApp's pricing comparison marks creating and emailing a dynamic PDF as not included on Starter and included on Business, Pro and Enterprise. Business costs $99 a month, or $75 a month billed annually, and also adds a custom domain and multiple result pages.

What is the best assessment software for consultants?

The best choice depends on what you deliver. Consultants with their own methodology and a report-led offer tend to choose Pointerpro ReportR or Brilliant Assessments. Consultants using scorecards to win work tend to choose ScoreApp. Consultants who need a ready-made, benchmarked organizational diagnostic under their own brand choose a frameworks-included platform such as AssessmentCloud Consultancy at $279 a month.
